Not sure if this was posted before. Thought it was rather neat.
My debit card is slowly dying, sent 4 copies of GOTY Deus Ex to friends.

Wasted half of the money I got on "friends". And I don't even know why. [editline]6th July 2011[/editline] Man, it would be so cool if the Collector's Edition got to Russia. But I'm sure we'll get our own "Special" (:downs:) Edition with only ingame stuff and that's it.
New gameplay supplemented by a commentary from JFD: Be warned: there is at least 12 minutes of brand new footage. Also, some of the comments: "Looks boring, I love the first* deus ex, but what the tihs is this. I" "fuck you and every body (exept faggots) will back me* up on that"
that was bloody impressive, the skyscraper got a great vista on the hub location. just ignore these kids on youtube, they are just incredibly dense.

A, a, and ah, a, a. That's JF for you.

Euphorium, is that Gunther in your avatar? great fan art!
It's actually a Warforged from D&D, but now that you mentioned it, it does look a bit like Gunther.
A preview build of Deus Ex Human Revolution, containing a rough version of the early sections of the upcoming game, was leaked onto torrent sites in late May. While publishers Square Enix have publicly been cool with the release, even quietly encouraging of it, behind the scenes they've been hunting down those responsible. Now, believing they've found them, they're taking fifteen Italian nationals to court. As part of court filings issued last month in Washington, Square Enix accuse the fifteen of logging into the servers where the demo was hosted using the access information of an Italian games magazine (GMC), where they found the preview build of the game, copied it and uploaded it onto the internet. GMC doesn't appear to be implicated, as the case says the intrusion came from an IP address which had nothing to do with the magazine or the reviewer who had access to the files. For its troubles, Square Enix is claiming the theft constitutes copyright infringement, as well as claiming damages ("in excess of $5000").

"Death By Vending Machine" should be an achievement.
A guy on the official forums suggested that, when you crush someone with a refrigerator, you should get an achievement called 'Ice Cold Killer'. That made me laugh for a solid 5 minutes. Also, new quick reply box with auto-saving features? Interesting. [editline]6th July 2011[/editline]
a
Good.
What do you mean auto-saving?
What do you mean auto-saving?
I have no idea how it works.
If you leave and don't post what was autosaved, there's a button on the bottom left corner that lets you restore.

Some comments from the GameSpot article on Square Enix's lawsuit: "Wouldn't be surprised if another hacker group hits Square enix now, lol." "Great move SE. Enjoy the pirating." "No they should be praised for free advertising." I hate people like this. These people stole and distributed someone else's work - they deserve to be prosecuted.
Plus it's a reasonable lawsuit. They aren't suing them for millions of dollars like other groups would.
Idiots. It's gamespot so it's nothing much.
On the other hand, leaking it got the game a TON of good press and goodwill, not to mention preorders. The leakers did square a favor, imo. Not to say what they did was /right/, but if I were square, I'd probably let them off.
Even if they did them a favor, it was still illegal.

-snip- i am a fucking idiot
I'm not defending what they did, I'm just saying it's up to square enix to decide if they want to press charges, and if I were in their position I wouldn't. The precedent it sets is the only reason I might.

Don't read the comments, they'll only make you lose your brain cells.

Good thing is they only had access to a press build.
