It may be a slightly above generic shooter. You know, with ?/100 health and med kits? Maybe three weapons at once and enemies that don't respawn infinitely. Most likely a Vietnam/WWII setting. Maybe a difficulty that isn't just "INFINITE ENEMIES ALL SHOOTING AT YOU AND NOT YOUR TEAMMATES"

Everything in CS 1.6 was in a desert.

CS 1.6 is the progenitor of modern brown and gloom shooters. I couldn't even take 1.6 seriously after CSS came out, its like 1.6 is the excess waste, the refuse, from the forging of what we know as CSS today.

It looks more like a Sci-fi/fantasy game so it at least they'll be trying something different.
