I doubt it'll be a specific game. There's bound to be some who already owns whatever game. It's more likely a feature, like better chatting, maybe so I can play my music library in any game now.

Music in any game is possible now and has been for a year or two, but it depends on the game developers, not Sony.
I think about 5-10 bucks for your PSN account, and a store sale would be a good enough gesture. Or an update to add features.
What day is it now? Day 10 of the outage? Have they said when it might be back up?

Joe Danger for free? I would be happy for Cross-Game voice chat, or to get ahead of the game, Cross-game Video Chat
I don't remember that screen at all, but apparently they did ask for your security code after all. They previously said they did not ask for the code. http://us.playstation.com/support/answer/index.htm?a_id=346 It's definitely an old firmware, if that changes anything
Joe Danger for free? I would be happy for Cross-Game voice chat, or to get ahead of the game, Cross-game Video Chat
Agreeing to this, even though im not too much of a PS3 gamer. It would be nice.
Agreeing to this, even though im not too much of a PS3 gamer. It would be nice.
They aren't going to give anything away for free. They just lost millions of dollars.
Holy fucking shit and I complained that PSN didn't work for me a while back when I wanted to purchase something. :smug:ing all over the place, man.
They aren't going to give anything away for free. They just lost millions of dollars.
Nope.avi Sony is a nice company, they would give out something for free for the inconvenience of the PSN being down.
They aren't going to give anything away for free. They just lost millions of dollars.
well for some users such as PSN+ subscribers they do have to reimburse them also seeing how this is a massive hit to their reputation giving free stuff would definitely help a lot
Nope.avi Sony is a nice company, they would give out something for free for the inconvenience of the PSN being down.
I doubt you will get anything in compensation for using a free service unless you purchased PSN+
Holy fucking shit and I complained that PSN didn't work for me a while back when I wanted to purchase something. :smug:ing all over the place, man.
Still got enough details to commit identity fraud in some way bro. You aren't safe by a long shot.

What they said is bullshit. Even in the new firmware (a month before it went down) you have to enter the security code.
Nope.avi Sony is a nice company, they would give out something for free for the inconvenience of the PSN being down.
If Sony was a nice company they would have bothered to encrypt your personal information.
I know. What they said is bullshit. Even in the new firmware (a month before it went down) you have to enter the security code.
afaik they said that they don't store the security code unlike the rest of your credit card data
If Sony was a nice company they would have bothered to encrypt your personal information.
That has nothing to at all to do with being nice.
Viewtiful Joe.
Viewtiful Joe.
What about it.
What about it.
I would accept it as the consolation prize.
It's funny reading the fear mongering that is taking place on forums around the net that the media decides to sensationalize without substansiating beforehand and spreads misinformation as "fact". It's like "Well, if somebody says it on the internet, then it's most certainly true. It's not like anyone would lie, because the internet is 100% populated with upstanding individuals of the highest morals and integrity." I'm not sure which is worse, the people who sensationalize and make up stories, or those who completely eat up any claim a person makes and believe it to be the gospel truth before a shred of evidence is obtained. Homeland Security just got in on the act with the FBI to HELP Sony and people pretend they understand what's going on. Did you know we had a Computer Emergency Readiness Team? That team's role is to work with affected companies to improve security and restore service, and share information with other security-related organizations to prevent future breaches. But apparently the fear mongering from anonymous unreputable sources is far more trustworthy...

A utopia of pure-hearted individuals.
My friends PSN accounts money went away but he only had 20 bucks in it
My friends PSN accounts money went away but he only had 20 bucks in it
PSN is down, how could he know he's missing money in his account?
My friends PSN accounts money went away but he only had 20 bucks in it
We already found out missing claims are all lies so take that elsewhere bro. Specially due to the fact it's still down and he has no way of checking.
I always do this : Enter credit card info, buy something, delete credit card info. Am I safe? Also I really need to link my PSN and Steam accounts already :saddowns:
A lot of people I know that have PS3s also bought 360s just for party chat alone. If Sony were to put it on PS3, it would be pretty funny from my point of view. Not having wasted money.
They should make playstation Plus+ free because of this farce.
