I checked a while ago, it is down. It won't go up for a little longer I expect. It's been over two weeks now, the compensation they are giving the free players will more than make up for that. Maybe not for the possible loss of your personal data, but for the downtime at least.

I don't even care about the free stuff anymore, I just want to play bc2 online again.

Especially since they're making it sound like the PSN store won't even be online until after those 30 days expire.

They missed their dates for good reasons I expect. The first time they probably didn't expect the damage done to require them to rebuild [B]the entire fucking network[/B]. Do you not understand how long it takes to rebuild something like that? It can take months to build a simple network for a small businesses, let alone a multi-national, high traffic network like this. As for the second date? I have no idea myself, probably just a delay in the re-creation of certain parts of the networking. Again, I can deal with the fact it is down, as they are at least giving themselves time to fix it up, test it and ensure that shit doesn't occur again for a long time. Find something else to do, take your mind off it. Masturbate furiously or something.
