Last week in the middle of all this.
Yes, I had prior knowledge so it is partially my fault, but back then all signs pointed to a speedy enough recovery. I was hoping by the time I finished MGS4 all would be fine and dandy.
All future points you make regarding the quality of the PSN is now void.
You might as well sell MGS4 now, the online's rubbish.
I have a friend who's really into it and what i've seen looks alright.
You might as well sell MGS4 now, the online's rubbish.
I never played the online because the fucker had to download a huge file.

I'm not saying PSN is a bad service.
Assuming that everything's functioning at the time the PS3 and PSN seem a lot better and user friendly than XBL (barring the somewhat-better arcade games XBL get). What I'm mad about is that I can't use it and haven't been able to.

Buy battlefield bc2, it's really good
Buy battlefield bc2, it's really good
Played that on xbox. It's pretty good, yes, but I don't know how much more I could play it before it gets repetitive.
And before anyone asks i'm not playing the xbox because the subscription ran out a long time ago and I'm sure as hell not paying for something that should be free ever again.
Buy battlefield bc2, it's really good
This times one-hundred.
I have a friend who's really into it and what i've seen looks alright.
It wasn't bad when I played it. But the update system is abysmal. I had to leave the PS3 on overnight just for the update to fail at like 80% when I woke up at 6AM (it started downloading at 8PM). Whatever the fuck was in that update really is huge.
Plus the playerbase is a fair bit elitist now, it is hard to do anything when I last played about over half a year ago, all the lower skilled players have been hazed out of playing by the overly good players.
Hey guys I am going to continue not caring and wait patiently. Who's with me!

Sony's really good at saying they can't live up to their promises without directly saying that they can't live up to their promises.

Jesus Christ, can you stop the sarcastic angst shit? You've over done it. Everyone understands you're upset with Sony and you want to play MGO.

The difference now being that instead of me speculating and whining they've actually said it.

Quit complaining, you bought the system knowing the network was down. Sony isn't to blame for your actions.
"When we held the press conference in Japan last week, based on what we knew, we expected to have the services online within a week. We were unaware of the extent of the attack on Sony Online Entertainment servers, and we are taking this opportunity to conduct further testing of the incredibly complex system. We know many of you are wanting to play games online, chat with your friends and enjoy all of the services PlayStation Network and Qriocity services have to offer, and trust me when I say we’re doing everything we can to make it happen. We will update you with more information as soon as we have it. We apologize for the delay and inconvenience of this network outage."
I'd rather them take the time and have the network up and responsive, not just up and nonfunctional because people like you can't wait to play online.

Not to mention a drug addict that's never actually tried the drug properly
Well the hackers went through with it, they published all the data they found on a unnamed website
...
Too bad sony took it down within minutes of it surfacing. I'm not sure what they were trying to accomplish with that.

uhhh
The information concerned some 2,500 users and was at least 10 years old.
The information was collected during a 2001 sweepstakes campaign and concerned names and partial addresses; no credit card numbers, social security numbers or passwords were involved.
Um
The company discovered the postings on Thursday, Reuters said, and Sony took the site down shortly thereafter.
Yeah that data's from 2001 or so they say but doesn't change what I said at all :v, they still published info that was stolen and sony still took it down.
I just got my PS3 back from Sony and now I have to wait more
Well, back to Fallout
The ironic thing is, if the hackers are PS3 users, Sony will be giving them free stuff too!
i just want it back up, this is a pisstake
