Is anyone else getting an error when they try to change their password on the PS3?
Havent had any problems since the second it went live in the UK. Changed password, logged in, enjoyed 4 hours worth of Uncharted 2 and Killzone 3 online. God I missed them games online, I cant wait for Uncharted 3's multiplayer.
Is anyone else getting an error when they try to change their password on the PS3?
Im getting it as well.
Same situation here with the pass change error. Glad I had other plans tonight 'cuz I'd probably wake the dead with my screams of rage.
Okay, I got past the errors. I basically just kept trying until it worked.
I keep getting the 80710092 error... Was working fine earlier. Sodding hell.
It's up here in BC
I believe there are hiccups occurring right now. I played Dead Space 2 online and Bioshock 2 online fine. But later today, after I came home from being out, I couldn't log on to the Bioshock 2 servers. I logged on to PSN fine though. Didn't try any other games for online though. But I'm guessing there are either some issues still, or the devs are doing maintenance to the servers or something. I'll just see how online play is tomorrow, as I have school shit to do right now. Really looking forward to getting the goods once the store is up. There's nothing on the blog about when that will happen, but they probably will say something in the next 1-3 days.
Guys really You expect it to be 100% day one it comes back? C'mon now.
Now it's down again. lol [editline]16th May 2011[/editline]
Guys really You expect it to be 100% day one it comes back? C'mon now.
i don't care i'm a whiny bitch and i want to play my video games RIGHT NOW
Guys really You expect it to be 100% day one it comes back? C'mon now.
No. I expect it to be 10%. Meaning I want to at least fucking log in, even if it means nothing else works, including online multiplayer.
We’re currently experiencing an extremely heavy load of password resets, and so we recently had to turn off services for approximately 30 minutes to clear the queue. As such, a large number of people are attempting to change their passwords at the same time, it’s taking longer than expected for all those emails to clear all of the ISPs. If you’ve requested your password reset, please give it a bit of time to reach your email. Thanks for your patience as we work to get everyone back online.
this was posted over an hour ago :(
lol I'm still online, but she and I did just get disconnected from Portal 2 so...gameplay servers might be down in some games.
Man this is irritating.
I'm online.
I'm online.
Same here. It's worked all day for me.
Im online (Argentina)
Someone tell me this: How do we go about changing our passwords if we lack the access to the PS3 console? Is this possible? Thanks in advance.

Did anyone update their firmware through internet while using a HDMI cable? I heard issues about people experiencing blank screens using their HDMI cable after updating and I'm kinda afraid to update until I'm informed of a fix.

Also
Dear PlayStation®Network user: As you may have heard, PlayStation®Network was suspended worldwide on 20 April 2011 following a criminal cyber attack on our servers. We're pleased to say that we have now started restoring some PlayStation Network services. Find out more at eu.playstation.com/ps3psn. Otherwise, you can change your password by visiting https://store.playstation.com/login.gvm on your PC. It shouldn't take more than a few minutes and if you'd lke more help you can follow the step by step guide at eu.playstation.com/psppsn. [B]Free games on us... To thank you for your patience whilst PSN has been unavailable, we'll be rolling out a Welcome Back programme for all PSN users shortly; this will include free games to download and a month's free subsciption to PlayStation®Plus (or a free month for existing members).
