I never got to playing it. It was laggy as fuck when it first came out so I decided to not play it. Like I would be attacking a blob, then be opening a box a few seconds later, then revert back to attacking a blob.

I think Spiral Knights would be good if you didn't need to buy energy to keep playing. Also it's way too laggy.

You don't HAVE to buy it. Just idle for a bit. You get an energy generator in your backpack. you can activate.

--Am okay with the lag, but: To craft a 2 stars armor, you need 50 energy.
-You now have 50 energy left.

--Craft a 1 star sword and shield: you need 20 energy.
-Lol 30 Energy left, so that's 3 dungeon levels. And then am stuck for the day.

It pissed me too much and I stopped playing.

That's the problem. I think that Spiral Knights has one of the worst micro transaction systems for a f2p game. Basically if you can't pay you can barely play.

It's not that hard to trade in crowns/ingame currency for energy. I had 400 or so energy yesterday (until I wasted it all by having an all night Spiral Knight party).

You can buy energy + it regenerates + they give you free energy tanks for doin' stuff.

I still have a 100 energy tank left to use, I used to have 2 and 7 of the small ones for doing referals

+ you can buy energy with crowns

I know right it's seriously not that hard to play it a lot. Although price for energy with crowns is like the price of gas. It keeps going up. However that's the community's fault not Three Rings.
