I said the same thing when I woke up 12 hours ago and I have yet to play the game.
Question for you guys: I was thinking of Far Cry 2 for the sake of finding lotsa cool mods if they exist. I can easily get the xbox 360 version from friend though. Would it be worth it, for mods?

I have yet to even download it. 15 to 16 GB for each game. Steam says it'll finish in 9 hours with my current connection speed. D:

Yes, he found it pretty repetitive, which is what I'm worried about. I was thinking a slew of mods could change that, but you can't beat free.

Thanks, I ended getting Far Cry 1.
I was hoping there were Oblivion style mods available, but when I didn't see many, I wasn't sure if it was because they didn't exist or I was searching incorrectly.

Crysis 1 has a lot of amazing mods too
IIRC download speeds can be increased by switching your download server to somewhere like Africa in steam settings
