I just earned the 4 prizes I most wanted: The Serious Sam and Killing Floor character packs and the TF2 and portal 2 items.
Turns out that the Serious charpack was actually for the second encounter and I only have the first. God damn it.
I just realized that Valve should have put keys into the prize booth. That way I can actually redeem something.

Same thing happens to me, except usually I'll sleep in really late and some how wake up 10 minutes after the new sales go live. I've done this 6 times now, I hope it stops when the sales end.
