Hoping for a Tomb Raider franchise sale eventually.
mmmm tomb raider complete pack
Thinking about getting The Sims 3. Are any of the expansions worth it? Just skimming through the descriptions Ambitions and World Adventures sound interesting.
Thinking about getting The Sims 3. Are any of the expansions worth it?
Buying anything except the complete pack would be fiscally irresponsible.
Buying anything except the complete pack would be fiscally irresponsible.
Yeah well I don't have $80 to spend on it.
Buying anything except the complete pack would be fiscally irresponsible.
God no. Even with all the expansions it's not worth near $80 especially since most of the expansions don't deliver hardly any content.
I wasted so much money during these sales. I bought the Oddworld pack and didn't know that it is notorious for not working. I bought Magicka and didn't know that it doesn't support integrated graphics cards. Then I bought Arma and... I don't know what the fuck is wrong with it. I'm guessing it too has issues with my graphics card. The game just draws all these triangles over the characters and some large grey boxes over everything else. The only thing that works that I bought during this whole sale was Fallout New Vegas. I only have problems really with running games by small developers because they do a shitty job of optimizing things for everybody.
Or trapping them in the pool.
The first thing I tried to do in Sims 3 was make myself a family "water" ghost. The first thing I found out about Sims 3 was that Sims could now get out of pools without a ladder

Any sensible person would've seen that coming.
Yeah well I don't have $80 to spend on it.
Base game and sims 3 generations. Only ones worth it.
So, Prototype has been sitting on my wishlist since... forever. So I am thinking about getting it. But my younger brother has it on 360, which means I could borrow it from him. And I am going to visit my parents, and thus him, this Friday. From what I have seen and tried of this game it seems to be easier with a gamepad. Is there anything which makes buying it on Steam better than borrowing it for my 360?
Yay error initializing my purchase, fuck steam.

Other than the reason being that it will be with you forever even if steam goes down (Playing in offline mode), its on sale.

Well, bought Atom Zombie Smasher after much thought. Liked the demo. Hope tomorrow's sales are good. =D

Just put walls around the pool, then they cant get out.
Would the Epic Pack be worth it? The only one I've really played is UT3, at least the latest years. Also, are there any packs that allows you to gift copies of games you already own?

But I had so much else to play at the time, so I said no then. If there are no other arguments to own it on Steam other than the "you will actually own it" then I'll just borrow it. I can't really afford games at the moment, yet these sales continuously make me spend money.

The only reason I would buy it is because I would be able to have it forever (And I don't mean like own, I mean like I wont have to care for a disk, etc.)

I usually never like borrowing games, as I too like to have games forever. But recently I have realized that I rarely get the chance to play games long after I beat them. Hell, there are a lot of games I haven't even beaten yet. Gonna save my money for the rest of the sale. Suddenly something irresistible shows up.
Is anyone a cool enough dude to gift me prototype for my Bday? [sp]I'll gift back a game of equal price when I get round to it (probably tomorrow) if that helps[/sp]
If I recall correctly, you can only gift extra copies from the the Valve Complete Pack.
That would mean that I could buy Counter-Strike, Counter-Strike: Condition Zero and Deathmatch Classic for only $50! That and a ton of gifts that all my friends already own.

Then you would be able to fill the quota of gifted games and you can just enter for gift drawings.
Gentlemen, do you know if there are someone still playing Unreal Tournament 3? I believe that game is on sale.
Just bought myself chime leaving me with 69p left to spend. hard choices now
L4D2 still has a large community, right? Me and 2 of my mates are planning on picking it up.
To be honest, you should pick up killing floor instead. Atleast tripwire updates their game with new content quite often, unlike valve with left 4 dead 2.
