I don't regret the decision. I wanted to give those people the games. It's not like I'm in dire need of Battlefield, I just figured I would throw the suggestion out there. I have plenty of money outside of Steam, I just don't feel like making any more purchases in it.
Well if you have the money outside of steam and not in dire need of BF, then i'm sure you can wait till you want to buy it.

I figured since it was on sale, why not try to get someone to gift me it? I'm not sure why you're trying to tell me what I should or should not do with my own money.
Hobo begging kids general summer sale.

[editline]10th July 2011[/editline] Who wants me to buy them a game?
Wow, melon_mapper, seem to be strongly against beggars and gifters. Just because people are being generous doesn't mean you have to hate them.
You're all still begging anyway, you are pretty much forcing who ever is going to gift as you're all "plz gift gaems, you will haev my love"
No, they aren't forced to. It's their decision. It's not like the beggar has a gun to their head and says "Give me the fucking game." It doesn't work that way, it works out of generosity and that warm fuzzy feeling of gifting. I'm just going to stop now because you seem to always rate my posts dumb even in the past threads. I guess that "Dumb" rating seems like you don't like my posts either.

Oh wow, photo bomb seal is there too.
You expect someone to gift you the game when you say you have enough money anyway, but just don't want to buy it.
How is this any different than say, walking into a grocery store and seeing a bag of chips and thinking "I would like a bag of chips, but I don't want to spend the money", even though you have more than enough money to purchase that said item.

Lucky son of a bitch.

It's ok, I'm now going to gift myself a game from this wonderful sale, as I'm a generous cunt.

I have to agree with Melon on the begging. It's one thing to join in the raffles, but it's another thing to post every few minutes asking for a game. Even a minor can set up a checking account and use a debit card to buy things online.
Meh, it's hopeless. No way I am getting FO:NV.
Meh, it's hopeless. No way I am getting FO:NV.
That's okay. I probably won't get Terraria either. Sadness buddies!
I'm thinking of giving Earbuds from TF2 for this. I'd take Shinobi because of nostalgia overload, I had loads of fun with it when I was a kid. I'd take Borderlands DLC because I have all of them except that one. But I'm not sure about Terraria and Magicka, should I switch them out for DoW 2: Retribution or maybe AC 1 or 2 (tho I'm more fan of online games). What do you guys think?
I'd go for Magicka if I were you, it's loads of fun.
Or eh, I'll give earbuds + some sweeteners for this:
That's okay. I probably won't get Terraria either. Sadness buddies!
This annoys me to, that people can't even spare a tiny amount such as £2.99 or what ever it is in USD, maybe if it was above the price of £10 I can understand people wanting to raffle.
Meh, it's hopeless. No way I am getting FO:NV.
I will give you TF2 Earbuds which you can then go trade that for Fallout:NV. Add me on Steam.
I'd go for Magicka if I were you, it's loads of fun.
So it doesn't get boring after first few levels?
This annoys me to, that people can't even spare a tiny amount such as £2.99 or what ever it is in USD, maybe if it was above the price of £10 I can understand people wanting to raffle.
Well sorry not all of us have jobs or parents wanting to give us money all of the time :colbert:
I will give you TF2 Earbuds which you can then go trade that for Fallout:NV. Add me on Steam.
Oh yeah, he'll definetely be able to, plus he can get 3-4 dollar game with remaining money, like Magicka.
So it doesn't get boring after first few levels?
Get friends to play with you. Levels are more fun chapters 7-12, if you plan to play by yourself.
Well sorry not all of us have jobs or parents wanting to give us money all of the time :colbert:
Heh, funny thing is I started my job maybe 3 weeks ago and get about £200 a week, you guys sit on the internet saying "Will beg for games"
So it doesn't get boring after first few levels?
Not necessarily
Heh I was thinking of giving some unusual for square enix or some complete pack but I'm restraining myself because I know I wont touch 90% of those games, just like I pass through my THQ complete pack games except from Warhammer DoW 1 ones.
Heh, funny thing is I started my job maybe 3 weeks ago and get about £200 a week, you guys sit on the internet saying "Will beg for games"
I work as a part time e-whore which brings me around 50 dollars every few nights, so you could say, I get 50 dollars an hour.
