I played the demo and all i did was shield self rain lightning. Sounds boring to me.

I hate how you have to babysit your downloads on steam to make sure they don't suspend themselves. Like I can't do something else while thats going.

the difference is that minecraft didn't outright rip another game off (it was certainly influenced by some games but it is different enough in concept to get away with it), terraria has horrible sprites to the point that i would punch the characters in the face if i could (and they still look like they're from final fantasy), they twist their arm 360 degrees to swing something, which just looks dumb, and it has horrible security due to everything being client-side so anybody can modify their inventory and drop dynamite everywhere to annoy people (which is the most fun part of this game).

Minecraft and terraria are both pretty lame games with lame developers who add useless stuff such as vanity items instead of fixing the game/Adding items that people want.

Nah, with the Adventure update Notch is miles better than... that other guy. Terraria also looks unintentionally shitty, as opposed to Minecraft.
