I find Terraria a fun game, and I find Minecraft a fun game, why are everyone whining?
Frankly I think Terraria better, no idea why, but both games have flaws.
Neither do I really understand how you can say that it looks shitty. It's not meant to be beautiful, but meant for using effectively. So what if your arm can swing 360 degrees?
Terraria is worth the price, in my opinion, even if the developers can be stupid.

Should i buy the GTA4 pack thing? its 10$ right now, but im not sure. I tried it on a friends computer once, and it seems to run badly on pc. (he has a computer thats about as powerful as mine)
Of course its loads of fun, but do you have to put up with the social club thing if you get it on steam?
