In the grand scheme of things having more tickets doesn't increase your chances hugely. It's still pretty unlikely you will win.
Conversely, just because you have a small amount of tickets doesn't mean it's impossible for you to win.
OH FUCK DAMNIT I JUST REALIZED I FORGOT TO REDEEM MY TICKETS 25 TICKETS NOT REDEEMED FUCK
OH FUCK DAMNIT I JUST REALIZED I FORGOT TO REDEEM MY TICKETS 25 TICKETS NOT REDEEMED FUCK
It's not like there was anything worth getting anyways.
It's not like there was anything worth getting anyways.
I wanted the TF2 glasses. :suicide:
I wanted the TF2 glasses. :suicide:
That should've been the FIRST thing you redeemed. [editline]12th July 2011[/editline] Oh god I have 1 unredeemed ticket oh well who cares I didn't have those games anyway. Only redeemed the game and TF2 glasses.
As much as Im trying to stay optimistic of winning, I have a feeling that just like every other contest I enter I'll lose :frown:
As much as Im trying to stay optimistic of winning, I have a feeling that just like every other contest I enter I'll lose :frown:
Expect defeat, outcome will be either good or plausible then.
With 12 tickets ? Yeah, sure.
Thank you, I also hope that you win Mr. Pessimist.
Expect defeat, outcome will be either good or plausible then.
Or don't be fucking miserable and think realistically about the odds and that other people deserve it just as much as you do so it doesn't really matter. Getting the opportunity to win 10 games you'd probably never be able to afford together is a blessing in itself.
10 games you'd probably never be able to afford together
look up "job" in the dictionary (if you know what a dictionary is) :zoid:
look up "job" in the dictionary (if you know what a dictionary is) :zoid:
I'll look up "douchebag" while I'm at it for your sake. I have a job, most probably unlike you. If you can afford to buy 10 games from one paycheck I'll be fucking shocked. P.S It doesn't count if mummy and daddy buy your games for you.

I had fun, bought couple of games at great price (enjoying them!), got some achievements, even helped a newcomer to Portal 2 to get taste of coop while getting one. This contest is like "Maybe my mail will have something nice for me". Great to win, if not, someone else is getting a handful of joy. Still good. In here, it would be full paycheck from "somewhat" job, probably less than third or fourth of a proper one. Still, people buy TV's when their raise kicks in, so ? Also, why the hell argue about money ? Games are somewhat expensive hobby, so there is no reason to point it out further.

It'd be awesome to win, but nothing makes me more entitled than anyone else. And forgive me if I generalise but most people on here are either too young to have a job or at an age where they'll be earning terrible money (myself being no exception, half a year or so till I will definitely get paid better) from part-time work. If I'm wrong I'll rephrase, I know for a fact I wouldn't be able to afford that unless I worked for what'd most likely be a matter of months.

I love the people who bought games to get tickets. you bought games so that you had a better chance of winning games, do you not see what you are doing wrong here.
I love the people who bought games to get tickets. you bought games so that you had a better chance of winning games, do you not see what you are doing wrong here.
I don't think people bought achievement games just to have a 0.001% higher chance of winning, if anybody did that (s)he's dumb.

I forgot the majority of FP is a 40 year old with a mortgage. Carry on trolling as if anyone values your opinion.
I don't think people bought achievement games just to have a 0.001% higher chance of winning, if anybody did that (s)he's dumb.
But you did?

Since clearly nobody else seems to care about what you say. And I think you are forgetting the fact that there are a lot of countries where unemployment is a big problem.
When are they going to update?
I'll look up "douchebag" while I'm at it for your sake. I have a job, most probably unlike you.
I love the people who bought games to get tickets. you bought games so that you had a better chance of winning games, do you not see what you are doing wrong here.
I had about half of the games in the contest already, and bought a couple that I wanted anyways, good times were had :v:
I love the people who bought games to get tickets. you bought games so that you had a better chance of winning games, do you not see what you are doing wrong here.
Yeah, but there were some pretty good games in there and some for only $2.50. Even if they did do that they are getting more games on top of what they might win.
But you did?
because you are totally qualified to tell me why i do what i do [editline]12th July 2011[/editline]
At this point I believe you are just posting here to start pointless arguments and to build a nice dumb fort. Would you all please chill out? It's their money; who cares what they do with it. Don't start an argument over it.
I'll look up "douchebag" while I'm at it for your sake. I have a job, most probably unlike you. So, yes, I can afford to buy 10 games from one paycheck, and you bet your ass I did during the sale.
You should buy yourself a Windows 7 license with that.
You should buy yourself a Windows 7 license with that.
I did, for $30 through the Microsoft student discount. I'm on my work computer through a WinXP VM though.
Oh, good for you. I wish they'd make it easier (or at least faster) for people who don't have a .edu email address to get deals, I wanted to get a discount on Microsoft Office and it took them many weeks to send me the confirmation email.

I'm happy I still have a working MUFC key.
