DosBox? I have Windows 7 64-bit too and I'd love to play SimEarth.
Sim City 3000/4 made me rage a lot when I was younger since I sucked.
Seeing as I am only 16, my "childhood" as in, 5 years to present, I did not get to experience these games, but I downloaded sim earth and I love it, and I have played sim city before and I also love that.
I've never played any of the games in the OP except for the SimCity games.
I love SimCity 4 and have clocked at least 200 hours into it.
Anybody got abandonware downloads for any of these?

I believe these are all DOS games, so you'd need to install it through DOSbox
We need a next gen sequel to SimAnt.

oh god i'm not good with dosbox at all, I cant get anything to run
I get crazy graphical bugs on SimCity 4, is there any fix to this? I'm on Windows 7 64 bit if that helps.
oh god i'm not good with dosbox at all, I cant get anything to run
Not that hard.
Assuming the game you're running is in a folder named after the game, and have said folder on the C drive, then you'll just need to do as follows:
I used SimAnt for this, but replace the name of it after whatever the game/folder name is

Type in exactly what is there, and it should pull up the game.

For other games, like SimCity or something, check to see what the exe name is, and use that instead of what I have above to launch the game.

That game became a lot easier when I realized you could double click on a fellow Ant and you would both "heal" each other by spitting slime into each other's mouths.
i still got the cd to sim ant and it still works same with sim city 3

I remember being low on health running from the spider when a fellow black ant decided to do that.
"NO YOU FUCKING IDIOT WHYYYY"
I died 3 seconds after.
SimAnt was pretty beast
Still expecting that regular forum idiot to say:
"WHAT ABOUT 'THE SIMS' ? THIS IS STUPID !!!"

I nearly came in here to post that there's already a "The Sims" thread :v:
What about SimHealth?
:v:
What about SimHealth?

I did not include SimHealth since that was not made public.
Streets of SimCity is one of those games that are so buggy it's hilarious. SimCopter was pretty weird too. I wish Maxis still made games like them.
You got my hopes up with the "?!", as I thought you were implying that they were making a sequel to SimAnt.

Oh I loved SimCopter. Thought the gigantic horde of speedo wearing guys was a bit weird though, but nothing a bit of teargas couldn't fix.
I remember SimCity 2000, was the best game I played in the series. Also, the famous quote of SC2K:
YOU CAN'T CUT BACK ON FUNDING, YOU WILL REGRET THIS!
Cutting back on transportation funding, even if it was somehow 99.99%
I played the hell out of Simcopter. That game was the fucking bomb. You could just do so much crap. Go to city hall and spam announcements while aiming the spotlight at the dome, someone will come out and shoot you, people will warp into your helicopter or City Hall will combust. :v:
It was playing this game, putting out a fire when I first heard Ride of the Valkyries. Shit was epic.
Also, this game had the best cheat codes. You could fly around in an Apache and shoot down UFOs for money. I also remember shooting down planes so I could rescue the passengers for cash.
There was one code that nuked the entire city. A bleak landscape, hospitals, police and fire stations were dotted by the confused survivors of this apocalypse. Also it made your helicopter crash if you didn't land it.
I don't know if I've had as much fun with a game since, to be honest.
Whatabout SimMars :v:
Whatabout SimMars :v:
SimMars was cancelled, so was SimVille. I got my hopes up when the trailer showed up in SimSafari and then I got to know it was cancelled. I wanted SimVille. :smith:

I remember seeing the E3 trailer for SimVille years ago when it leaked online, and waited eagerly for it to come out.
It never did :frown:
