Heroes of Newerth - Insta-lock Scout, level Codex to 5 - Games

Someone needs to explain this trilane crap to me because it just sounds crazy and stupid right now. E: Also, keep the OP updated with latest hero info: yes/no? Agree for yes, disagree for no. I just feel like fucking with the OP.

I think the jist of trilane is it gives you two solo lanes and one gank orientated lane, the trilane is constantly ganking the two people in it's lane to put them behind on XP and gold and to push up their own XP since they are getting less in general.

Wrecked a game with Soulstealer. Also won the game before that 4 v 5 as Bubbles. Sand Wraith and I manned up

The point of a trilane is to get your carry farmed. Or any hero in general that needs a quick item, like Pebbles. The two supports provide superior lane presence and if you pick good supports, can set up easy kills. A basic trilane would be glacius, voodoo and pesti. Lets him farm up his carry items. Another one can be witch, pebbles and glacius. 7minute portal key, with boots and bottle. The other point of it is to have 2 solo lanes which you give to heroes who need the exp. So in MSI's old strat, Bubbles mid and Pharoah long lane. Bubbles gets the farm from mid, and if pharoah is good, he can get his boots and whatever items he uses. These 2 guys should be the main gankers. One support from the trilane wards, while the other can roam after level 7. Basically, it's a 'get the carry farmed' strat. Fun to play as well.

If you want to try a different kind of trilane a Witch Slayer, Myrmadon, Torturer trilane is really fun, you got like 10 secs of AoE stun and if you let Torturer take all the creeps and hero kills you will get a nice semicarry out of it too. I only used it twice but both times it completely trashed the opposing trilane, a lot of people don't know how to deal with Torturer and his Impalement spell.

A teleport, a silence, a 4 second immunity, and an ult that forces people to stay in a certain area.

HoN is more competitive and dota-like. With a community that hates noobs, so read up guides before you play, and be ready to be raged at even in noobs only games.

This is going to sound really silly but I'll ask anyway... If you have the Sachi Swiftblade skin I will trade accounts with you. My stats kinda suck so I'll reset them if you want. I have the Christmas skins for Deadwood and Keeper of the Forest and the alt skins for Glacius and Pyromancer. I'm also a pre-order account so I have a gold shield if that matters. I'm one of the dumbasses that didn't see it when it was around, played a game three days after it was taken off and I think it is the most boss fucking skin in the game. If someone is willing to trade, I'll be very appreciative.

I want to get the magmus avatar but 1400 MM is so bad.

I like glacius but everyone I know says "you glac, buy courier!" when I've gotten 2 that has died already and they won't let me carry. When I say I can carry they all laugh and say "support cant carry, you silly!". Anyone else than me who think Glacius can carry? Also, got the female glacius when it was off with coins I got from MM. It's cool.

Glacius can't carry unless the other team has far less farm than you. Even nukers will still destroy you. Glacius is the best support in the game. A large AoE slow, a ministun disable, a mana regen aura and a handy ult that does nice damage if you use it right.

Glacius can't carry. He turns into a pretty nice nuker with farm though. Still, best way to play him is pure support.

None of glacius's abilities are improved with new items, other than spellshards which work on any caster.
