btw I was going to host how much I've fallen back in love with this game.
So I joined a random 5v5 no stat game NBD right. And instant lock female pyromancer.
I didn't really want mid but the guy who was like a 1600 psr on our team was with a friend who it was literally his first game and they wanted to lane bot. They're like fayde or pyro mid, I didn't want to but it was literally fayde's first game. So I was like w/e
What I found was the FP advice I got so far was actually really helpful, I had been overvaluing early game harass. I ended up winning mid, ganking a bit, and when I finally got their mid to rage quit I was like 2/0/3. By the time they lost another player I was 6/0/4
Eventually the game devolved into a 2v1 me + fayde against clint ragewood (ragewood because the 1600 psr guy couldn't 1v1 the clint so he got wtf butthurt and rrrrage quit) and it was intense.
Eventually he chased fayde to mid, so I was able to buyback + post haste boots up mid to pressure top (since I got the barracks turret down) and he had to defend the creep wave so I predicted his movement and hit him with a Q which let me down top barracks and mid turret.
From there it was over.
The ganks though? Jesus so intense. I'm already getting more used to the differences in map awareness, screen placement, positioning. I'm getting used to how much space there is. So much space.

Everyone on my team had no experience. It was my second game, someones 10th, and another guys first. The other team was all experienced with 250+ games each. One dude was approaching 1,250. We got crushed.

And this coming from a guy who used to think, partly because of a few trial games months ago and stereotypes, that the community was pure shit and did nothing but yelled at each other.

He is good, but he is one of the harder carries to play since you have 2 skillshots to land. The effectiveness of his whip also depends a lot on good positioning.
Hmmm I don't really want to play a carry atm unless they're pretty strong.
Who are good tanks/initiators?
Pharaoh/Moraxus/Pesti are used as tanky initators, I would probably start with Moraxus and Pesti, Pharaoh is one of the harder heroes to play.
Who's the champ who has the giant snowglobe ulti?
Chronos? Dont play him, hard carry hero, but he's really not that good unless extremely fed.

If you really want to you can build Chronos tanky by getting Daemonic and Wingbow, his passive stacks with Wingbow so you get about 50% evasion which is a lot.
I wouldn't recommend it though, unless you really [b]FEEL[/b] for the Chronos.

Yeah but it's the same idea, aoe stun. HoN just looks infinity times better.
