Goddamn it gets funnier every time
I would enjoy this game a lot more if I could do something like that exclusively in matches.
I love doing good when we have uneven teams, even if we do lose. I've had a 3v5 game as Demented Shaman where I just spammed my heal on Madman during fights before. And just now, I had a 4v5 game where our Hellbringer refused to ward and rage'd about 10 minutes in, and yet I still kept most of the team alive during fights. Was awesome when I healed Pred up from near-death, then helped him kill most of the enemy team.
Goddamn it gets funnier every time
I'm gonna try that. Is there any other class that can set traps? Btw, when you take full control of something that's not your main character, where do you leave your character? In a safe place, right? But how can you be so sure...
Does anyone else hate the new shop? The spell descriptions are nice but god damn it takes alot longer to buy things now.
You can change it back: "To revert the shop temporarily type "cg_usenewshop2 false" without the quotation marks in the console (to open the console press Ctrl+F8)."

I think the new shop might be better once you get used to it.
Idd, just give the shop a couple of games and you'll get used to it quick. Atleast it looks nice now, and it's more user friendly. It's just a matter of adapting, really.
The new shop feels better to me, at least after half a dozen games with it.
I already prefer it after a couple of games, ingame guides are a really cool addition.
I played this during closed beta but haven't since then. Can I log into my old account and use that or do I need to make a new trial account?
You should be able to login with the beta account.
Sweet, time to scrub it up with Soulstealer again
holy fuck so many champions!
holy fuck so many champions!
Heroes.
Does anyone else hate the new shop? The spell descriptions are nice but god damn it takes alot longer to buy things now.
New shop looks great, and I like the guides for heroes I don't play often.
Played Rampage for the first time in forever. Forgot what his abilities did, was using charge to last hit early game. :frogdowns: This was last night.
Does anyone know what mods I should use when playing the game? Where can I find a good list?
Does anyone know what mods I should use when playing the game? Where can I find a good list?
http://forums.heroesofnewerth.com/forumdisplay.php?f=18 There's the mod forum. I don't use any personally though, so I can't give any.
No reason to use any mods, except maybe tower range and spells range, and then remove them later, or just keep them, just so you get a sense of all the ranges for spells etc. Else i don't find any necessary.
I used to use all the prodex mods, but now they're kinda useless. I've also got BardUI++, a few range indicators, Pleasanterth(Mod made to make it easier to tell what's important in-game by making everything else white or grey;IE less eye-rape; it's pretty much just a grayscale Caldavar),Test++(more options in practice mode), Auto Courier(which I'm honestly getting pissed at lately because if I'm not the one to buy the courier it messes up when someone else does.) Honestly if you're not having any issues with anything you don't need mods, except maybe model changers, but if your having troubles with the range on your abilities, grab Range indicators, if the UI seems too cluttered, BardUI++, and if you get confused as all shit when spells and heroes are flying everywhere and can't tell who's who or what's what, Pleasanterth.
Good, now I can give riot some time to finish their shitty servers.
everyone is very mean in this game :frown:
You need to get used to it, the community in DoTA and HoN is a piece of crap.
I recommend playing with FP guys or friends if you're new to the game. The community is really shitty, especially for new players.
everyone is very mean in this game :frown:
Welcome to the real world, no mommy to protect you here. Or cute animated little pixels who dances around doing nothing (LoL)
I might buy the $40 coin package. Who would want a free account? And would they trade something for it? [editline]14th May 2011[/editline] PM if you want the HoN account, we can negotiate over that.
everyone is very mean in this game :frown:
There's gonna be a rager or a griefer in just about every game, best to play with friends or a clan.
Just won a game as bloodhunter, silence + ulti is OP.
