So I just started playing LoL yesterday and am rather enjoying it, but I think I'd like to try this out. Being able to buy the game would be infinitely preferable to having to constantly unlock champions. Can anyone briefly explain what 'denying' is? Or link to an article explaining it? From what I've read, that's a rather major difference between HoN and LoL, so I figure it'd probably be useful to know.

In HoN, when you deny allied creeps the enemy gets no gold and less exp, giving you an advantage of level and money while laning. When you deny a tower it gives less gold. This is why last hitting is important because if you're good at it, you won't give your opponent any money, little exp and you'll have plenty for yourself.

Clowns managing servers of HoN, I've had it with the game being shaky for 1 month now. First they blame the hosting company for taking too long and now they have a "catastrophic hardware failure", lol.

It probably is the server company, there is no way game server software could cause "catastrophic" hardware problems. Did all the servers simultaneously catch fire and melt or what?

Don't people have hobbies or something, I see them whining constantly about the server being down but holy shit blaming it on the developers who have major problems now and are struggling to do anything seems extremely dickish to do. Just wait it out.

Sadly there was no available work today, I manage to open LoL before I get this weird feeling which reminds me of why I never liked the game anyways. Since I started to play HoN every other game feels so boring. =( I've probably spent more money in this game than any of you, and I don't feel cheated in any way. I know that they're having problems, but sometimes your personal ego dominates your rational thought (as proven by me in my post above).

Get a hobby, like walking/running or swimming or going to the gym. There are numerous activities that are beneficial for your health and also fun. I enjoyed a lot working out at the gym but then came my old skin problems as a kid so I had to stop because it became worse and worse, luckily due to a lovely lady who helped me cure it I can start doing it again. You just need find a hobby that is fun for you.
