that's why they're pseudo [editline]21st May 2011[/editline]
fuck you for distracting me from work EDIT: aparrotly i mistyped .png.
Also got the link working.
Also, I suggest you not to wander around places like Agroprom or Wild Territory during the night, and if you're too afraid of the dark or don't have night vision goggles you should stay around in places like Bar and Cordon's Rookie Village. The Garbage also has the Duty outpost and the Hangar, but those are usually under attack.
What is there to worry so much about night? Darkness? Please. That's just lack of light. The most menacing thing you can find at night is this or this Nothing scary about Stalker, Villein. Just some deadly mutants ready to kill you behind every corner. Glad I could calm you down.
have you even seen a goddamn controller
have you even seen a goddamn controller
I control controllers. Honestly though, I remember my first time playing S.T.A.L.K.E.R., going through the you-know-what (Don't want to ruin Villein's first experience) and seeing that controller. Oh boy did that give me chills.
Controlers still give me chills when I encounter them. But when you're on top of a building well out of it's reach, trying to snipe something they become incredebly fucking annoying.
Oh god, Freedom has laser accurate guns :byodood: My assault on Freedom base failed miserably because they lased us with their boolets as soon as we blew up the fence, full of ashame!
Hmph assault on freedom. I do a traditional weasel-killing to them every time I reach warehouses. and no one ever sees me.
Well, bought a physical copy of CoP, now I have a disk version of all the STALKER games and my post-apocalyptic training package is complete. I'll laugh at the digital distribution peasants when the bombs hit and their hard drives are wiped but I'll just reinstall everything from disk
Oh god, Freedom has laser accurate guns :byodood: My assault on Freedom base failed miserably because they lased us with their boolets as soon as we blew up the fence, full of ashame!
Shit I killed the entire base myself before the assault. All you need to do is find an accurate enough weapon yourself (with a scope), a good cover, lots of bandages and a couple of medkits. Now you're good to go. Oh and I suppose my SEVA suit was a bit of a help aswell.
Yeah see I have a bandit suit and a Famas with an Acog (LURK) which kicks like fuck. I will do this, I don't need no stinking duty help.
For shame, attacking freedom. Just wait until Bob Marley's birthday, they'll be high and full of boar legs. :v: Also, I just found a fight between rodents, boars, fleshes and dogs. Easily 20+ corpses, only 2 rodents survived.

Wee, tanks. Which reminds me, the Zone needs more IEDs. [editline]21st May 2011[/editline] haha oh shit story idea brb
I like to help rookies. In part by shooting and maiming every bandit I come across.
I shoot the rookies and bandits.

WHOA WHAT FUCKING CNPP
You're including that in the mod? I only thought you'd do Agroprom, Bar and Cordon! Fuck yeah, that's going to be an awesome mod.
I guess that's what the screenshot suggests, isn't it! Was always including more than just those three levels ;)
Also transparent CNPP. :v:
Also transparent CNPP. :v:
It's a wizardly cloaking device.
Also transparent CNPP. :v:
Will increase the draw distance, don't worry ;)
Dem ghost pages [editline]21st May 2011[/editline] Shit [editline]21st May 2011[/editline] Guess I'll ask a question, when I'm done with SoCh, what mods should I get for another playthough?
I hate how quest NPCs can just die while you're away. In SHOC, after I fucked up Freedom base, the guy who I was supposed to turn the quest into kept getting killed by freedom snipers. And in COP during the Magpie quest, the guy he shoved into an anomaly was dead by the time I got there, so I couldn't turn him in.
Wee, tanks. Which reminds me, the Zone needs more IEDs.
I was honestly surprised that we basically never got any proper places to use the RPG except for the Helicopter boss in Clear Sky(But I don't think anyone dragged an RPG all the way there) even though the RPG is present in every game(though it's always fitted with anti-infantry warheads). Though I wouldn't be surprised if one of the sidequests in WotW would include ambushing a military convoy and subsequently having to take out one or two BTRs with the RPG while your comrades shoot the troops or the other way around. Or some areas having a chopper doing air patrol once a week or so. As far as S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2 goes, I'd like that the army would sometimes(maybe like the above, once a week) insert military stalkers via helicopters deep into the Zone. And the aforementioned choppers doing air patrol-thing. They would function as a hazard but they wouldn't really shoot at you unless they think you are a threat(ie. are identified carrying a PKM,RPG or a Gauss Rifle or manning a stationary MG nest(which are another thing I'd kind of like in Stalker 2, at least in faction bases and army outposts). Even then, they would mainly just shoot a few bursts from the autocannon and call it a day unless you're an actual threat (firing rockets/MG rounds) .
I hate how quest NPCs can just die while you're away. It gives the world a more...harsh atmosphere and feels less "gamey" when important NPC's don't necessarily have any sort of protection. If you fuck up, they're dead. Deal w/it. Well okay, Splinter dying before getting the quest done is kind of stupid because it might lock you out of important stuff with no fault of your own but 90% of the time it makes the immersion stronger. The devs should've prepared for this event like they did in ShoC: If a character dies, their important infos should be contained in their PDA's so that you can still complete the mission. Or complete the mission some other way. Like in ShoC, I don't want to needlessly anger the army because Wolf will likely get killed if they come and rape the rookie village.
gonna play some people soup and eat cereal this is not going to go well
people cereal and eat soup
There, stalker'd my avatar. The whole thing: http://i.imgur.com/IEki8.png
There, stalker'd my avatar
Needs transparency.
Needs transparency.
I added it first, but then it fucked up and I had glittery shit all over the edges, so I removed it.
That's pretty sweet Croguy!
have you even seen a goddamn controller
Have they ever followed you through 2 different games wanting you dead?
