So I think I'm gonna get SoC after hearing a lotta good stuff about it. I've also been watching a playthrough with the L.U.R.K mod and that looks awesome. But I wonder, is it best to play through the game Vanilla first?

Everyone are just "lol complete" anyways yes, Vanilla first, until you get bored of the bugs or if you even manage to play it all the way through.
