Funny thing is:
My teacher was suprised when I asked him which ones of them he has played.
He didn't know of Clear Sky or Call of Pripyat. Now he does.
Then I recommanded OL 2.2 and LURK for him.
Did you tell him to play Vanilla on CS and CoP first? God forbid if you didn't.

My dad was gaming and hosting LAN parties before I was even born. He used to play Quake, Duke Nukem, Tribes and all sorts. Nowadays he normally plays Crysis, TF2, World of Tanks or Minecraft. :unsmith:
My mum and dad played DooM back in the day, But that's about it (That I know of)
Although my dad was quite interested in STALKER when he saw me playing it

My first game was Mechwarriors 2. To this day I can't find the CD or a torrent. The game is lost to me forever

You can't join the millitary in the games, can 'ya? :v:
And no, he was a squad commander in the YPA, then he was a garrison overwatch, then he was an artillery lietuenant in the 90's. He helped me learn some strategic and logistical movements that are used in Croatia's military, which is quite helpful when it comes to games like Men of War and STALKER.

No one I know in real life has played a STALKER game.
My brother sort of played it, he randomly got SoC for no reason [I]on the day it came out,[/I] even though he had never heard of it before. He didn't even finish Cordon, while I installed it and that started my love for the series. :v:

Your dad sounds like a cool dude.
My dad was a Leuitenant in the Ordnance Corp. He's no Marine, but he still knows his way around a fight and can tell one end of a gun from the other.
