What's the difference between People Soup and People Soup DMX? I'm looking into starting Shadow of Chernobyl back up again and wanted to try a different mod.
DMX has a lot more stuff and some more crashes. Both are difficult as hell and very strange. Quality as a factor is not what either mod is about at all, it's about as much content as possible, no matter what suffers.

What's with people thinking all shotguns are made in the 21st century?

i have yet to meet a person who thinks that
Any chance of STALKER 2 at e3?

I think it's more a figure of speech. If you use sabot rounds instead of buckshot rounds, and curve or 'rifle' the inside of the barrel you can actually use a shotgun to fire well over a hundred feet. But thats just a very specific type of weapon which would prevent the use of buckshot in the weapon., so the effective range is like 40 feet.
TL:DR
Shotguns are actually somewhat accurate depending on their design and ammunition, and you should be able to hit the wide side of a barn with one at the very least.
I hate when games think buckshot disappears after 15 feet.
People soup flechettes are the best. They bounce against the ground.

Care to explain what people soup is?
Care to explain what people soup is?
it cannot be explained in mere words
it cannot be explained in mere words
Uhm. So the lack of explanation combined with it's name means I have to create a hypothesis.

What the soup feels like(not what it plays like):

It's a mod, one that is supposed to be really hard. I'll have to give it a whirl when I'm done with vanilla CoP.
no, K1ngo is just a lucky wizard who runs every game great
Only games that get under 30fps is Oblivion and ARMA 2.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, it makes very little sense. I have a very similar system and don't get that kind of performance.
Which model of the GTX460 do you have? I made a custom BIOS for it a while ago which makes it even more magical.
Mine is an Inno3D 1GB model, I doubt you have the same one and it will probably not work :frown:

Narodnaya Solyanka (Or People Soup) plus the DMX mod adds so much stuff you can't really name it all.
All these weapons:

And it's like 12 gigs uncompressed.
That sounds fuckin awesome! I'll have to play it after I finish SHoC with lurk.
If there are revolvers in People Soup, I'm sold. Fucking love Revolvers.

Not really worried about playing it with dynamic lighting or anything.
Hmm, only just noticed the thing on steam about what to do on a friday and being bored. However it did suggest the Call of Pripyat complete mod . It's been a long ass time since I've played Stalker so i'm currently downloading this and will give it a go tomorrow.
Hope it's good :)

If it has full story co-op my undies will be full of cream for a long long time!

gee kingo you could just say "no" :smith:
Oh my fucking god, the weapons are bloody weak in clear sky.
I have to literally be touching someone with the barrels of my double barrel to kill them.
I just got back from a job interview, I think it went well.
If I get hired, I should be able to afford a new PC within a few weeks.
Maxed out settings here I come!
EDIT: Oh, and the job is awesome too. Working at the Bristol Renaissance Faire.

If you move one of your sticks of RAM into another slot, it might double your RAM speed because it is running at 333MHz which can't be right.

I wasn't aware of that... I'll give that a try. I really just have one 1GB stick and two 512's.
