To get the proper speed that your RAM is running at, you should double what it gives you (provided it's DDR, which it is). Again, not entirely sure. Not sure if that's what he meant but either way I'm still getting the same thing. I might give up on my project... I lost an entire episode of footage, plus recording really takes away from the atmosphere. Perhaps I'll just play and return later to record...

Seeing how you have three stick with different amounts of ram, couldn't it just be that one of the sticks is slow as hell(probably the 512 mb ones)?
