What are the best weapons in lurk of each category i.e. Assault- Sniper- Shotgun- Pistol- Smg- I want to know what people think, because at the moment all I have is the SKS, the pernach and the assault rifle in streloks stash.

So I saw a dream last night that I was playing CoP online on the full Pripyat map and I'm sure this was a sign so someone has to find a way to host the singleplayer maps by going deep undercover in Russian sites so we can all enjoy a big clusterfuck of free for all

I never listen to music while playing, ruins the atmosphere in my opinion.

Does anyone actually play stalker multiplayer?

The other Stalker MMO croguy mentioned will be enough for me. For me, Stalker is about an immersive singleplayer experience. Not that it wouldn't be awesome if done correctly, with actual Faction Wars and raiding X-Labs with stalker groups... But I doubt the combat could ever be really satisfying in an MMO. That's why I never use the "combat music" and dislike Call of Pripyat's default "ambient" at times. I like the campfire music and maybe some music from ie. the speaker system in Duty base, radio at the bar etc. though. It was sort of fun but we didn't get enough players to join to achieve it's full potential.

It was p fun, might try again now that my copy works online again. Was hella fun during nighttime on the pool map, crouching on top of some pipes and dropping on the back of someone with a knife. 2v2 hell yes

Does lurk have blowouts? Theres a storm outside and I'm about to head into x18, anything I should be worried about? Also is the SKS a Pernach and the Sako AR good enough for X18?

Hey Thorny or anybody else who maintains the site EuroStalker, whenever i try to check the rules in the site, nothing happens when i click it, so does this mean that there isn't any rules except usual common rules (like don't talk crap etc)? So is necroposting allowed? if not, what is its date limit? So many old good threads that just makes me wanna post....

I'd rather take a pump-action a toz instead of the rifles for X18

One F1 and my SKS got me through X18 just fine. Snorks were fun as all hell, I think I died three times :v: Take out the pseudogiant with the F1.
