You're pretty much proving my point. Png has more features and no loss in quality. The size difference between those two is also 300 kb. For the computer illiterate, png has less opportunities to mess up ("hurr durr, I'll set quality to 50% because it'll be so small"). There are no positive points to using jpg, but there are a few, mildly good points about png. Therefore, by some margin, png is preferable. Playing some cop complete after having it sit in my downloads folder for 2 months. My dislike of ~artist pavel~ stopped me from installing. It's really fun with hud turned off. It's a bit annoying to have to press I to check your health but god its fun. I was standing next to some bandits when suddenly the guy I was talking to got shot and his friend was dead in a second. I sorta pooped a little. [editline]6th June 2011[/editline] I'd like a dynamic HUD for stalker so that it only appears when you need it. Like in Far cry 2.

I have terrible internet speed. Download at about 80-150kb/s depending on location - so even jpgs rape me. But hey, I deal with it, because I don't really care whether a page takes long to load, I'll just alt-tab and do something else while waiting. When someone fills a page with .gifs that are each 8mb large though, that is bullshit. The recent pages in the General Screenshot thread have been crazy
