Guys, you really should play some "The Faction Wars 2.9.1". The new beta is amazing! They only thing that's kinda annoying is the fact, that you still need 2 bandages to cover a bleeding, but otherwise, it's great.
Wow, I'm behind. I bought Stalker: SoC and CoP ages ago when it was on sale yet I've only just started to play it. I'm finding it really fun so far.

Yea, I've been playing it, it's awesome. What I don't like, however, is that the backup sometimes tends to derp and never arrive, and the squads sometimes refuse to go to a certain spot.
Someone tell me where I can find a mod that will give me bangin' graphics, missions, and more shit to do.

It also lets you know that the edge of the universe is yellow.
The best part about it is after you fuck freedom up and destroy all semblance of 'order' there, you can just go up to the barricade and they'll act like nothing happened.

Also, has anyone else noticed how inconsistent and strange is as far as balance goes?
I.e
-Bandit jacket>Every suit I've seen so far
-MP5 even without iron sights is incredibly accurate and powerful
-There are like 14 pistols that are all the same and utterly useless, with barely any statistical variation
-The TOZ and the SKS are absolutely amazing but are found near the start of the game, where as the guns I've used so closer to mid-game are a lot worse, with only a few being decent.
-The fucking sway on these guns are stupid, they tend to suddenly move down after 5 seconds, and then rotates like you've just drunk enough alcohol to kill a psuedogiant
-The recoil is a bitch on assault rifles
-The zoom of the scopes is ridiculously high
-The healing with medkits is weird, sometimes it takes like 2 seconds, others my guy will sit there for ages without any control, which happens 90% of the time in combat
-The damage I take is super duper inconsistent, pistols can sometimes take a clip to put me down, other times in just two bullets. Same goes for most other weapons.
-Enemies just stop before they attack me sometimes, other times they can hit me through walls.
Good example: I was in the middle of the firefight to get the plutonium from the army entrance at the start of Cordon (2000 Ru for a 30 fucking minute firefight btw, the way Sid said it "You can have anything" he was gonna teleport me to the fucking wishgranter) and some smuck walks up behind me, and I stop to reload, hear him breathing and realize he's been standing behind me for a good five seconds. Other times people will move in front of me to fire at me.

Also, I can't install Redux's patch. Am I supposed to delete the original gamedata folder and replace it with the redux one?
You download and install Redux v1.0 Full or Base, then download v1.05b patch and apply it over the top like it says in the ReadMe :colbert:

No, but seriously, do I just drop the redux gamedata folder on the orginal gamedata folder? I am not good with computer.
What original gamedata folder? If you have one before you install v1.0, delete it, and if you're installing the v1.05b patch then yeah just overwrite it.
Managed to get some footage of me actually getting scared, albeit a little quietly in comparison to when I played amnesia and just yelled one big "FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU"
