By that logic the Death Zone is an event that actually happened in the STALKER universe.

For lurk I personally found all the kalashnikov weapons pretty inaccurate and useless (Besides the Akaban or what-ever it's called.) Shotguns are very good in lurk, but as for shotguns I was vague and I just meant the sawn offs.

If you're carrying a pistol that's [i]not[/i] at least .45 caliber and an assault weapon, you should keep a shotgun in reserve for mutants. The sawn-off shotgun will see you through until you start to get the high tier weapons. Don't waste AK ammo to dogs. Dogs are best dealt with buckshot combined with fast feet. Use the lean function extensively at the beginning. In the beginning, take some time to do sidequests. The early sidequests' rewards aren't really worth it by the time you reach mid-game but they are valuable in the beginning. Oh yeah, don't use the flashlight at night if you're engaging human opponents. Use the nightvision instead.

So, I was getting tremendous amounts of lag in Call of Pripyat. Anyone know what might be causing it? ( I normally get a tiny amount of barely noticable lag, this was a huge amount of it.) Also should I do another SoC playthrough again with AMK or play redux CoP. [editline]12th June 2011[/editline] Fuck! The game is STILL BROKEN. I ONLY COMPLETELY REDOWNLOADED IT. Fuck this I'm gonna go play gmod or something. I love stalker but if it won't let me play then I'll just have to do something else.
