You still have to delete the gamedata folder, it doesn't go away just because you reinstall.

And I've played and finished it before, as well as SoC which I can get a very stable 30 FPS whilst recording on and like 50-80 FPS while I'm not. Very weird. Although I've sort of given up on stalker for the moment, it's just to painful to bother with all this. I'll pick it back up when WotW comes out or something of the like.

Could be your graphics card. CoP tends to shit itself if you have an older graphics card and only two gigs, happened to me all the time.

It's called simply not seeing the point. Lots of people just think that fanfiction is pointless. Also most, almost all even, fanfiction is very very shit.

I think we write pretty good fanfiction in this thread.

I've played through the entire STALKER series countless times now, with different mods (Redux, Mod-Packs, LURK, AMK) and I've been putting off playing STALKER until I'd finished my last year of university (so I haven't been playing for about 4 months now.) Can anyone throw some good mods at me? I'm contemplating playing through people soup at a later date, but can't really find any superb mods that don't fuck up the game. If anyone knows of any mods that focus more on gameplay, weapon diversity, ballistics, working stealth, trading and all that shiz, I'd be grateful if you'd yell at me~ I heard somebody compare LURK and Complete for SoC, but I didn't like LURK as much as any of the other mods I'd played.

It's a more polished version of the regular AMK.

There might be some small fixes but overall it's just AMK already installed.

Goddamnit, SMP corrupted my save :saddowns: I had just gotten through the underground bit with the first controller. There is one thing about SMP that I find interesting though, the military seem to be hilariously incompetent, and the loners the opposite.
