In x-18 lab now. Last time I played, I had settings down low and gamma up high (I'm a wuss). This time around, I'm playing low gamma, lower than the default, with stalker Complete mod, with headphones, in the dark, and I get chills everytime I see a poltergeist. I had to turn it off last night it was creeping me out, and I didn't sleep (actually, I woke up shouting at one point). So, tonight, I go back into x-18. The snorks don't scare me. It's the constant fear of turning around and seeing a bloodsucker up in my face. I don't remember if there are any in X18, and I'm not looking forward to finding out.

I've downloaded the soundtrack from the site and the windows media player skin. Also, I recommend listening to "Firelake - Dirge for the planet" which is track 12 from the soundtrack. Gift Of The Zone + Mandy = pure win

I found that huge bulky gun, the 2000FN or something in the hands of a bandit in my first mission, I thought it would turn the game way too easy. Boy, was I wrong... Seriously, meeting a band of mutants is death. I'm going to follow that other guy's advice and just camp on the Skadovsk for a while, right after I finish the dredge station quest. Also, shouldn't vodka kill my hunger? Because it doesn't. Also, am I the only one who hates CS's soundtrack? it's just so... merry.

The soundtrack in SoC Complete is awesome at times (in the 100rads bar for example), and hilarious at other times. Why would Russian Stalkers sit around a campfire playing american colonial tunes on the harmonica?

I'd give the first to my brother, and keep CS and CoP myself. Preferably an online pack. I hoped steam would have it but nope :( Secondly, are there any coop mods? Or do the other two games have coop? Cheers STALKER is certainly addictive. For some reason, I redownloaded from steam the other day, and played it for about 6 hours over the weekend. And now I just want to finish work so I can go home and play it again. Probably my favourite game ever.

I think you'd have to buy them separately. As for co-op, none of the games have it, and I don't know of any mods that add it.
