It'll quickly get back to the point you were at before. At least that's how my experience has been.
You can't harass with mushrooms, the range is so low that when you go to plant one, you just get whacked.
Not to forget it takes forever it to detonate when you place it.

Because Kat ALWAYS (well 80% of the time) gets fed when I play.. 1500 Elo, level 30. Doesn't matter. Noobs don't know how to fucking stop her. The only time she doesn't get fed early game is when I have a char with CC. But then mid game she gets fed of team mates and snowballs hard.

It might just be how I learned to counter her. Had a friend play her from level 6-30(we played almost every game together) and he would make comments about how bad she is and if shut down how useless she becomes late game.
Ever since then I've always laughed when a Kat was on the enemy team and cried when I had one.
