It does exist, to a certain extend. It exists for those of us who cannot carry 4 scrubs extremely hard..
It's like in shooters.. I can EASILY fucking carry my whole team on the back in FPS games like CoD, but others may not even though they are good. They're just as not as good as me/high Elo players in LoL.
