Me and Blitz got our tower before then, killed Blitz and MF three times each (and we both were 3/0/3 from it), went mid, killed that tower, and I think I farmed a big wave on bottom once. Kill dragon once. I also got a double kill first blood.

Time for another episode of "How do play that champion"
How do play soraka:
Get some tank runes and flat AP quints
ARMOR PEN REDS. One starcall stack reduces their mresist more than you will penetrate with mpen reds. Armor pen is so much better for harassing in the laning phase and dealing that extra bit of damage to the main focus.
Take Flash and Ignite, 0/9/21 - 9 in defense for the extra stats to survive early game. Make sure you focus your points into mana related masteries in the utility tree. Don't get the increased buff duration. If you get a buff, you want to get rid of it ASAP... it only makes people want to focus you more. Soraka doesn't need blue buff, give it to anyone else who needs it more.
In Champion Selection, tell everyone that you are going bottom lane and that it is required that someone pick an AD carry to go with you.
Start with Doran's Ring
Start with one level in Q to begin zoning and spend all of your time in lane autoattacking and starcalling opponents when possible
Once you level one in Q, alternate between W and E, always lvling W before E, and getting any points in your ult when possible
Use E to give yourself mana in the laning phase, because the mana on your ally will be so small that it's best to either keep up your mana or use it as a silence/dmg.
Your first item is HoG to start your income, then Merc Treds, and afterwards your third item has to be Aegis of the Legion
Now why do you say Aegis on soraka?
Well, her passive gives 16 mresist to all nearby allies, and Aegis gives 8 AD, 15 mresist, and 12 armor to all nearby units, while giving you 270 health, 30 armor, and 39 mresist as well as 8 AD.
Your whole job in a teamfight is pick out that one carry who's doing well that you can trust can make smart choices (I know it's hard to find but sometimes you have to use reasoning)
All you do with that carry is make sure you stay with them at all times, healing them with W, and when they get really low, pop your ultimate to give them a double heal, as well as the rest of your team.
But Gibbupuss, why don't you use your ult when your whole team is low?
Well, due to the nature of teamfighting, when your carry is low, your team is low. You should never use your ultimate to save your tank or offtank (unless they're carrying). The whole idea is to save your team's main source of damage, and when you pop your ult while they are still at full health to save a tank, have you really saved your main source of damage?
Anyways, when your carry gets 8 AD, 31 mresist, and 95 armor, plus a really powerful heal and a powerful global heal, you are basically making your carry into an invincible monster.
Don't forget to spam starcall in teamfights, use your silence where needed most (interrupting channel ults > silencing casters), and ignite whoever is about to get away or whoever needs to be ignited to reduce their healing (vlad, mundo, master yi, etc)
After that, you will either buy Mejai's if your team is doing well, or Rylai's if they're having trouble (for the AoE slow)
No, you won't win every game with this build. No, Soraka isn't an easy champion. But I guarantee that you will give your team the best chance of winning teamfights, and your heals will make your pushes successful and will keep your carries alive to do baron/dragon/buffs/pushing afterwards.

Going 9/0/21 or 0/9/21 work very well both ways.
Just went 6/0/9 as singed. So awesome. I would run in and initiate a fight then our fiddle would jump in and fuck up everything. Singed Poison + Slow + Flip + fiddle ult = LOL ACE SINGED GETS TRIPLE KILL.
