Caitlyn also had downs and despite having 650 autoattack range, ghost, flash, and her net thing, still managed to get flung 100% of the time because she insisted on overextending and attacking at about 200 range. Yeah, I was just trying straight-up AP morde, but it didn't work because I had to get too close and was too squishy. I just sold some AP and bought some tanky at the end.
