Yeah, it's possible, but you want a good support/healer that can keep you going, or else you'll just end up harassing yourself. Only if you can get lucky enough to find yourself in a lane against two pussies, though; the reason that Olaf goes to the jungle is because he gets harassed out of lane way too easily.
That game that Acfan kept linking had the Olaf and Soraka laning top against me (Nidalee) and Shen. The laning phase shouldn't have been as difficult as it was.

I've always wondered that myself, considering there's no e-penis-APM-meter in League like there is in HoN.
Or maybe they just like hearing their character talk. Idk.
