Could you maybe make the finger prints slightly more transparent? They seem a little too distracting, imo.

Not everything has to be custom.
You should just make the fingerprints have a sheen to them, so that in a certain light you can see them, otherwise they're transparent.

yeah i think the fingerprints should be removed. if you ever had a spare second you'd wipe them off with your shirt or something not just leave them there

on a sniper scope the reticle is small for a good reason: for a better sight picture and to be able to crudely calculate bullet drop which is what the chevrons underneath the middle one are for as well as the little table to the bottom left

it was picked up by a bad guy and its hard to get them off with lens cleaner....

Yes lets add another time consuming feature for something that could be fixed by just changing the scope texture slightly from how it is now.
Put some slight dust smudges on it or something, no need for full finger prints.

back from family reunion, I will be working on the map more.
Well I recoded the ballistics system on the new engine. There's bullet drop + penetration, although its a bit screwy ATM and comes out at a \ degree angle. So only people standing right next to the wall get hurt, but maybe that's unintentionally a good thing.
If you can somehow tweak it to more desirable angles, that really is a tad more realistic in the end. Infiltration for UT99 did that stuff very well. :3

At extreme long ranges, you have to put that factor into your shot. Very minimal, though.
