Really disappointed in the removal of free aim, it's almost an essential feature for this sort of game.
You know tactical games exist without free aim?
I'am sorry JLea but due to the removal of the elite tacitcal free aim I will not be purchasing your mod.

Guys, the only way we're getting free aim is if someone actually helps JLea code it in.
The problem is in general, you can't send from client to server. A little bit of info if you don't know: Most modern games consist of 2 parts. Client and Server. The server holds all of the information that EVERYONE connected needs to know. Things such as player positions, bullets, time left in the round etc. This is why servers need good internet (to handle 24 people spamming them with info, AND sending it back) and good CPU's. The client holds all of the information that only YOU need to know. So different texture settings, particle effects, materials, models. This is so you don't get problems like bullet holes not appearing, because the client + server went out of synch for a second, as well as stopping you from getting 2000 ping from receiving irrelevant information about "xXxSn1p3rHuNt3rxXx"'s cross-hair settings. This also explains why you can change your personal skins. The problem is, all the viewmodel sway/lag/position is calculated on the client and if you wanted to send it to the server, you have to use this horrible hacky method which uses the same way player buttons are sent which.. is not nice. Not to mention, people could replace their models with a gun w/ a muzzle position 20 meters infront of them which would allow them to shoot through walls if they walked up to it. I think what the RnL team did was actually freeze the player eye angles updating. So the body is still turning, but the head is stiff.

Why not just ask RNL for some kind-hearted, fellow modder help about how they did theirs?
Eh, I don't really mind the removal of free aim. I'm mostly just disappointed that there's less of a free roaming aspect which got me interested in the mod in the first place, but meh.

Why not leave Freeaim in for single player? I'd take a good SP experience over the ability to seamlessly play coop any day.
You guys should hire Potteh so that he'll create a boatload of decent content and then take it all back when he thinks he hasn't received any respect.
