Guys, what would be the best mod for Clear Sky that is most similar to I Work Alone for CoP? The whole HUD-less, survival type aspect.

Just got my new monitor today, and discovered that ShoC doesn't support 1920 x 1080. Are there any reliable mods to get it to that resolution, or did I miss something in the settings menu?

So, I reinstalled Clear Sky, figuring I'd get around to beating it now that I have some free time. However, when I start it up, I get sounds but no video, just a black screen. I hear the menu background music but there's no visual. No mods are installed and it's a fresh install in Steam.

What the shit, how am I supposed to start out in Redux, my starting 30 AK bullets and 20 pistol bullets are very quickly wasted trying to get those god damn dogs off me that kills me in a few seconds if I don't kill them quick, so I'm stuck with 100 rubble, an AK in bad condition with no bullet, an armor in bad condition, no food, no bandages or anything, this mod is more unforgiving than expected.

I might play Clear Sky again with the faction warfare mod. It's just the AI pisses me off more than anything in CS.

Try and avoid mutants for the first few days, and concentrate on jumping Bandits from behind. You also might want to switch your 74u to Semi and go for headshots.

Don't fight any dogs on your way to Skadovsk, do Sultan's quest, get shittons of loot.
