Holy shit, the Dark Valley is fuuuuuuuuucked. If I was a space marine from the future, I'd nuke it from orbit, just to be safe. Seriously. In the bandit complex which I had previously filled with snorks by luring them in with myself as the bait, I encountered five (5!) electro chimeras whilst returning to finish what I had started (i.e purging the snorks); there were at least two dozen snorks left. A whole squad of 10 military men had just been completely wiped out; eight dead and one zombified (there was a controller as well.) The only survivor was a man who from now on shall be known as Sergeant Badass McBadass. Unfortunately I had to kill him as he was very keen on ventilating my skull. There were two bandits left who must truly have been ninjas to be able to hide from so many mutants for two days (for that is how long it had been since I'd lured the mutant horde into the base.) I got out with only 11 rounds of buckshot from my original 220+ left. My sidearm was completely empty. Whilst walking back to the STALKER camp near the entrance to the cordon, I was beset by 50 or so Tushankos and several flesh. I threw a lucky grenade that killed so many that my game slowed down to 6 frames per second or so for a few seconds. Killing those who remained used up all the rest of my ammunition. AMK is the shit.

Why do I never get awesome moments like that in my games?

to be a loner you just play the game as if tfw didnt exist
