DEFIANCE WILL NOW RULE THE ZONE!

Should be able to, it just modified the weapon and mutant files.

Mercs took over duty by themselves.

You end up being attacked by Mercs first. They are the closest factions to each other I believe. It always ends up in them fighting and the Mercs winning (at least in my past experiences).

Do factions actually manage to take over each other if you do become a Loner?

So I just reinstalled SoC with LURK, I went to the bridge checkpoint in Condor and there was a band of loners attacking the checkpoint, unfortunately this made the military at the bridge checkpoint angry at me, after killing them I went to carry the loot back to the Trader, when I arrived the fucking military from the military checkpoint was assaulting the newbie village. There's bodies everywhere now, no one survived, not even Wolf, it's a ghost town now. So lonely.

I have not played this mod long enough as a loner in order to actually see anything occur. Probably because it becomes so damn hard to play as a loner because of an unsteady stream of income, unlike joining a faction where if you capture a few outposts, resources, and bases, you're rolling in the money.

Too bad you can't capture the hangar in the garbage.
