Zulu is a pussy, dying from one snork swipe.
I hated that mission, anyway. More teammates means more lag.
He died from the particles of air in his suit hitting him in the face
Zulu is a pussy, dying from one snork swipe.
Guess he is overcompensating with that machine gun.
Guess he is overcompensating with that machine gun.
Yea his beard isn't big enough.
Does anyone know where the save files for CoP are?
Does anyone know where the save files for CoP are?
In the _appdata_ folder, I think.
Is that... Lemon Balm?!
That's a horrible looking mask overlay.
That's a horrible looking mask overlay.
I didn't make it.
Gotta say I'd side with the Loners, you always start with them and they're always good guys. I think I screwed up in CoP though, I turned Magpie into Freedom and did all the other tasks for Duty, so now I'm one task away from befriending Duty, forever. :( What do you guys usually do for a faction to side with?
I'm getting a problem with starting up the mod I WORK ALONE V1.2.. whenever I try launching it asks me to insert the original 'S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call o Pripyat' CD/DVD... and I have the steam version? help? NVM, fixed

Now comes the long part. Click the Install button. It's best to do this just before a meal, or before going to bed. When you finish dinner, It might be done, it might not. It should be done if you chose to sleep through it though. EDIT:
NVM, fixed
Nice.
Couldn't he just delete the XrEngine.exe and then verify the integrity of the game files?
Actually, verifying the game files fixes it. I had that same problem, not sure where it comes from, but you just need to let it re-download like 3 files. Won't break anything.

Why am I gold member with less than 2000 posts? Anyway, haven't been here in fo eva. Any new mods or is still all the same shit as it's always been. STALKER 2 really needs to come out, you can only play the first 3 so many times.
I'm already rich as fuck and I haven't even gone to Yanov station yet :smug: ( vanilla )
I had 230, 000 ru before I even went to wild territory. Lurk is too easy. [editline]16th June 2011[/editline] Also guys seeing as you are all canon geniuses (What the fuck is the plural for genius? Genie?) I was wondering if you could help me with a few cannon related issues with my story. (I hope to get this to well over 100k words, so quite a large length, the story that is.) Firstly I do not own a copy of Clear Sky [sp]I'm buying one soon, promise![/sp] and was wondering if there's any important backstory to be seen in Limnask 13? A lot of the earlier chapters involve extra characters (Scientists and the like) and try to explain the events from [sp]1980[/sp] to 2012, including a personal recollection from Sidorivich. Limnask 13 is going to be the setting for the first or so chapters so any important events and the like would be useful. Then my next question is, is the STALKER wiki trustworthy as a primary source? I understand I could play the games and examine every detail carefully, but I'd prefer not to. P.S. What faction should I choose? -I love the priniciples that Duty stands for but apparently they're useless at actually upholding them. -Freedom is criminal scum plain and simple, they don't take the Zone seriously and think it's a good way to make money, but a load of fucking good that'll do you when the Zone encompasses the entire world - which multi-million dollar companies will buy your shitty artifacts then? -I would like Monolith but they're essentially zombies which makes their value as a military force zilch, what would they do if they just won? Sit around until they starve? -The ecologists are smart guys and I love science and their reasoning for keeping the Zone makes sense, but at the same time it would only benefit them if they stopped the spread of the Zone. -Mercenaries, these guys are dicks, but if they had more backstory - I.e who's paying them, and what their motives were, I would choose them dependent on their goals. -And then there's the military, these guys might seem like dicks, but if you think about the events occuring in the Zone and in the Ukraine area in general, these might be the governments last chance to recover from a losing battle against the stalkers and the Zone. Desperately trying to protect the borders from more stalkers entering, it's failing, mutants and artifacts are spreading globally as they're exported by stalkers out of the Zone, it's only a matter of time before the stalkers moving towards the Zone decide to get rid of them en-masse to make life easier. What should I chose! (Man this game's factions are complexly deep.)
-when we talk about Freedom, it's important to know which freedom we're talking about, here. The three leaders each had fairly different philosophies regarding the zone, united only by a desire to preserve it (never played clear sky, but wasn't Chekhov political? while Lukash was an environmentalist, and Loki wanted to open the zone for science) -hurr dooty let's kill the zone -the stalker wiki says something about the Mercs were originally going to be Western forces in the zone- the fact that they still use NATO weapons suggests they probably have ties to GB/France/US -military is corrupt and mostly bad at their job. Spetznaz units, military stalkers, and people like Degtyarev are the exception -Monolith are interesting because post- SHoC you'd really expect them all to be like Strider. Who knows who's controlling them now all in all, it'd probably be best to just write about Loners, maaaybe ecologists if you want to get all psuedo-sciencey
The Preachers. Just like the company followed Strider, the rest follow the Preachers.
-hurr dooty let's kill the zone
Second, the Zone is a serious threat to the world at large in stalker. To want to stop isn't retarded, it's a noble idea. The Zone technically isn't a good thing in stalker, regardless of how much we love to run around and kill thing in it.
Who knows who's controlling them now
Third - now that's more like it, someone who thinks like me!
maaaybe ecologists if you want to get all psuedo-sciencey
Annnd last, psuedo-science? That's my speciality! --------------------------------------- Also I was thinking about [sp]the science going on before the C-Concious project, and did a bit of research into psychotronics (mind control) and found it very intresting. Anyone here with any complex scientific knowledge? I was thinking about the reason mind control as a project had failed was because the Noosphere filters out Electromagnetic waves, preventing them from small scale alterations of the human psyche. I was thinking that the antenna in Chernobyl 2 (look it up, pretty cool stuff) was used to temporarily cause a rift in the Noosphere, allowing alterations on the local population of the Limnask area. Which caused the Noosphere to strengthen in that area - causing in turn a surge in power requirements to keep the experiment running, which caused CNPP to meltdown. Sound like a good sciency explaination?[/sp]
Just going to leave this here.
I'm going to go make that "get out of here stalker" version of the get out frog now... [editline]16th June 2011[/editline] This will do for now *I did not make this, I am currently drawing a get out stalker now*
Ponyfags in my game? Nope!
Tark off MLPfags
Ponyfags in my game? Nope!
Okay if Paravin said, no, you need to get the fuck out quick before he writes a story starring you.
I'm writing dialogue for a quest, so I'm kinda busy. ;)
