Jesus motherfucking christ, how in the holy fucking hell am I supposed to stash shit in AMK, fucking no one sell backpacks and nowhere is safe, all the stalkers just loot everything, I'm constantly running with 85+ kg of shit on me, I have like 6 armor on me.
Can anyone help me out? I just deactivated the brain scorcher and the fucking monolith are just creaming me. I got a SEVA suit (lol) at a little less than 3/4 protection and 3 solid hits are just destroying me. I can't make my way past them at all, seriously starting to piss me off.
Spam grenades, go to a point where they just keep coming and you can mow them down with you having the advantage... dunno
Advance cautiously. Scan the treeline for movement or out-of-place colors, and aim carefully, make your shots count. Flanking roadblocks also helps, but don't go too far into the woods, bad things live in there.
Nice. Does he have it already or does he just not want it?
He showed me the build he was getting, and as I scrolled through the parts I saw that one of the parts came with the game. I asked if he was ever gonna play it and he said I could have it :v:
Fuck, the fireball inside strelok's stash is stuck INSIDE the floor.
Late as hell, but duck and jump around on it, or try and drop a weapon on it.

[editline]24th June 2011[/editline] If you get bored of the intro on part 1, skip to 2:00.
Zip File, I love you. Your modified TFW is so much better.
So many games to play
If only Blaberry was here...
Too good I am here :buddy:
better anomaly system.
:wmwink:
I like how everything is cool in Clear Sky. You are a Duty member, you are moving towards a camp to take it over for your faction. It's all clear, you see a skull on the ground and just shrug that off and keep moving. Then you get tentacle raped by bloodsuckers, your companion fires off his AK like no tomorrow and you are just running like a mother fucker back to base.

It was random, playing TFW.
It was random, playing TFW.
Cool!
Aaah, the smell of a new playthrough as Duty: A hour later, I get ordered to take over the approach to Yantar from Agroprom, me and Anatol (my travelling partner) took it over within a minute or two of arriving: Shortly after, the "replacements" came in to hold the post for our precious faction: Two of the guards promptly sat down to take a rest and play the guitar: Around ten minutes later, we were ordered to take over the base of the eggheads, which was defended by around twenty mercenaries. Here Anatol is bravely holding off four mercs only with his sidearm, as his rifle was broken shortly before:

That is weird. I've never had that. Are you using the latest patch for Clear Sky and do you have 2.9.1 for TFW?
I don't have the TFw patch. Do you have a link to it?

He also won't talk to me even though he's supposed to be friendly towards me. What the hell?
Yeah, maybe in 5 years it'll have that. In reality, it changes TFW to not have the vanilla ballistics of CS. So your weapons are accurate, they don't fly around the screen when you fire, and you/your enemies don't take ~10 bullets to the face and live. They also don't sound like airsoft guns anymore.
So, does your mod require a new game or is it compatible with earlier saves ? I wish TFW would have the option to play as the Monolith and the Military as well :smith: .

Holy fuck that was long. 54 hours of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. with L.U.R.K. mod, and I have triumphed! Hah hah... wow that got really shit at the end. Like, really, really shit. So, I'll start this episode of GuyWithTheName's Adventures in the Zone in the red forest. So, I set out into the Zone, ready to record my adventures, and what partook was of a tenative horrible nature. I died. A lot. Not because I'm shit, but because idiotically I only took three anti-rads, and whenever I even clipped the rad zone of a vehicle or area (Which in red forest is fucking everywhere) I would drop to red level rads and die shortly. So after several hours of recording and picking off monolith, getting shot from seemingly no-where, avoiding radioactive spots and attempting to save ammunition like I was afraid I would need the accumulated gunpowder to breach a wall or something, I reached lab X-18. Of course it didn't help when those fucking visions blinded me reguarly with flashes of useless bright light. Okay time to go into lab X-10. Hm, it seems to be deserted, just watch out for the bloodsuckers I remember from Chickens! livestream... okay... why aren't they here. Tensions building, tensions building... oh fuck it's invisible in the corner! FIRE! and... I fired one shot, my weapon jammed and that thing buttfucked me like it was right out of Paravins stories. Moving on, I have my little vision and fucking monolith swarm me like I just applied a sledge hammer to the monolith. Regardless of what their intentions were, they all seem to have forgotten the layout of the building because I merely walked around with a silenced rifle applying bullets to their skulls. Leaving I discover that all the monolith have been replaced by military units, so picking them off I leave my weapons behind and just pick up an Akaban, my NATO ammo deplenished. On the way back I encounter a fight between friendly freedom (Who still refuse to acknowedge my help to their faction, and a loner group. I decided to help freedom to see if I could finally get on friendly terms, but the stupid idiots were unfortunately the lesser comrades, and using they're crappy rpk 74s, they all fell while I battled it out at close range with Groza weilding loners. Returning to base, I encountered a tonne of dogs, and discovered I could stil help protect the barrier from the monolith despite the fact I had spent the last hour picking them off to reach X-10. So, I start the fight, and rapidly discover that they just keep coming, and I kill roughly thirty of the fuckers before they stop. Then, on my way back a bloodsucker decides to pay the captain of the barrier guards a visit, and I fail the quest. Deciding not to give a fuck, I arm myself for the upcoming battle, annoyed that I still hadn't located an exoskeleton, and had even gained 320,000 rubles to buy a exo-skeleton. Returning through red forest, I was attacked by a huge pack of dogs, (also earlier when going to bar to check for an exoskeleton suit I was attacked simarly, with the assistance of a bloodsucker) and after a couple tries managed to put couple grenades into the pack and sit on top of a truck and shoot at them while they ran in circles. Arriving at pripyat, I fight (technically just followed the loners in exoskeletons, and fired what, two shots?) to the underground, and then make my way across the city, in a glitchy annoying as fuck fight to the arena area, only to have the sweeping camera clip into the next area zone and I skipped the entire arena. Arriving (apparently) at the CNPP, I immediately begin killing enemies (in one shot to the chest?) along the way, and apparently the military joined in, fighting side by side with the monolith. So deciding just to run along the walls of the CNPP main building, and half way there the [sp]blow out timer started[/sp] making my way inside, after an extremely glitchy fight which seemed easier then the begining of the game, I arrived in the tunnels below. Then moving along the tunnels, I discover after my fifteenth death, that I'm accumilating continous radiation for no reason (yea I know the glitch, it's a bitch) and that I began dying in under a second, making the entire fucking area impossible to complete. So I decided that, fuck it, I've already completed the game, I know whats going to happen, and from this point on it's tedious, and this glitchy shit isn't helping, I'll just call it a game and add an hour onto my playtime. So yea, done. I'm not going back for a while hopefully, that got really fucking painful towards the end. It went - Oh neat. Cool. Fuck yeah! FUCKING AWESOME! eh... repetitive, okay now that's weird, oh come on! THIRTY GUYS? Wut? Fucking really? Alright I'm done. So yea. That was an interesting experience. I hate to say this, but I actually had more fun playing complete. Maybe it's just nostalgia, but it was more stable, I knew what I was doing, and yet was clueless at the same. It was definitly fun, and lurk was good in terms of difficulty and weapons, but it's balanced sucked, its alteration to the glitches was minute, the optimization mode helped kill a bit of the lag, but truthfully, was a bit unessesarily downgraded, my computer could handle it not looking like complete shit. So eh. Pictures and a video of me on the way to X-10 will come soon, when I'm not so tired. Lurks great but meh, not that good towards the end.
You thought Lurk was hard and unbalanced? And Complete better ? ha-ha-ha-ha-ha.
GET OUT OF HERE STALKER.

So many horrible drunken decisions. Welcome to the Hangover anomaly..

After you get out though, head back down to the Science bunker and get your ass an SSP-99M (the yellow-greenish scientist suit), it's actually better than a SEVA since it has the same bulletproof cap and better anomaly/environment protection. Plus, IIRC, it's actually cheaper. Other than that, use every bit of cover you can. Remember, in the Zone, tin barrels make excellent bulletproof vests.
You thought Lurk was hard and unbalanced? And Complete better ? ha-ha-ha-ha-ha.
GET OUT OF HERE STALKER.

No. As far as gameplay actually goes, lurk is better. I fully agree complete is shit. I just had more fun playing complete. This is just an issue of time and retrospect. Half-life to Half-life 2. Half life one was lesser technology, graphics and general quality. Doesn't mean it was any less fun. I thoroughly played lurk, and by the end I wasn't having much fun. When I finished complete I thought, "Well that was fun." Plus I didn't really know any other stalker mods then, most were just minute changes like better nightvision, which I didn't bother with. Don't treat me like an idiot, I am aware of the general opinion and fully agree.
So many horrible drunken decisions. Welcome to the Hangover anomaly..
Welcome back to the land of the living, brother.
So many horrible drunken decisions. Welcome to the Hangover anomaly..
Why do I never get these? At least 25 cL of vodka and lots of beer on a single night, wake up, nothing! I guess I should just be grateful.
Let us know how you fare when you combine a night of vodka, rum, tequila, beer and wine!
