I wonder why there are so many dead Monolith in x16. Something to do with their assault on Yantar, I suppose? Any theories?

well, the gate next to X16 led right to Red Forest in CS, so I guess they could've tried to take back the lab, and failed because of the zombies.

Well. This was odd. Playing as the mercs in TFW. I took over Agroprom, Cordon, and the Swamps, and recently the Dark Valley. Except, right when I took the Dark Valley I lost every single point in the Swamps and the Cordon, and the entrances to the Dark Valley. (Not to mention a dozen freedom randomly spawned inside of the base I had just captured and tried to kill us all.) Really weird, so now, Clear Sky which was really low on faction strength shot back up to 2nd, and I have to recapture everything again.

No surprise. It is a valuable scientific installation, and it does serve as a defensive checkpoint to get into the Red Forest.
