Hey Capitalists, My name is Stalin, and I hate every single one of you. All of you are fat, stupid, american pigs who spend every second of their day preaching about democracy. You are everything bad in the world. Honestly, have any of you ever worked for the furtherment of the motherland? I mean, I guess it's fun backstabing each other for money, but you all take to a whole new level. This is even worse than being a gypsie. Don't be a stranger. Just hit me with your best shot. I'm pretty much perfect. I was leader of the Soviet Union, and I single handely captured Berlin. What do you do other than steal the money of third world countrys? However, every time you don't follow orders, you'll lose rank and end up getting demoted if you disobey too much :v: . Rank one : You'll get assigned to stand at a checkpoint and stand around in the heat of the sun until nightfall. Then you're assigned to firewatch and have to fight back sleep while trying to keep the campfire alive :eng99: . But joining the Monolith sounds pretty cool too. That is, if they got new voice acting. Screaming in terror for help is very un-Monolith behaviour.

Welp, I just assaulted the Bandit depot in CS and some fleshies boldly charged into the building, distracting the bad guys as I mowed them down. The fleshies then didn't even touch me. [B]I am beastmaster of the zone.[/B] However, it's the 2nd time I clear that damn place and they (the bandits) keep respawning. Is this normal?

After seeing all the stuff for the Faction Warfare mod I decided to give it at try. I'm a little confused as to what to do though, is it still basically the same system as the regular game where you just randomly get locations to take or what? And does it still take forever for your faction to actually send a squad over?

You can use the radio to direct them.

Oh okay. So I take an area and then just radio in for a squad to occupy it?

It removes the entire main quest, you don't even play as Scar. The only objective is to join a faction (Loners, Clear Sky, Defiance, Duty, Freedom, Mercenaries, Bandits) and take over the Zone. It gives you a radio that lets you call in squads, either from one of your faction's bases or a local squad. It takes them anywhere from 20 seconds to two minutes to arrive in the area, then maybe another 30 seconds to actually get to you. Can you do this for every little camp, or is there a manpower limit so you only really want to garrison border areas?

I think of making a turn based STALKER browser game, rate positive if you want me to make it.

I would pay double the amount it costs for a movie ticket these days to see a professionally made STALKER movie that isn't hollywood-ized.

Capturing resource points lets your faction put out more squads and upgrades your faction's equipment.

Now, when I call in a squad sometimes they have a sniper rifle, usually a squad at least has 2 L86s in it, and once again a Mp5 or winchester. Plus most freedom members now wear a seva. Does anyone know if TFW emissions spawn anything at all?

I like how the Train Depot area is just a big neutral spot with guys from every faction hanging out.

I'm playing as Duty, it's pretty fun so far. It feels really easy to take the territories though. We've almost completely secured the exits/entrances to the garbage. I assume it gets a lot harder when you actually starting getting in on a faction's turf? And what does XP do?

XP increases your experience level. And I don't really know if it gets any "harder" I was able to take over the whole zone for Freedom in maybe six hours.

Gonna buy CS, is there a mod that removes glitches, betters ballistics and makes the game more enjoyable without removing the main quest?

Are there mods similar to the SMP for CS that work with Clear Sky? Extra weapon, realistic gunplay and the like?

Only factions left are few Duty guys spread out in random points and Freedom. :v:
