I never had trouble with 9x39 rarity, besides it's really effective so you can stretch it a long way.

Agreed, but thats what happens when soviets go to western gunshows and decide to take the AKS 74U and recompile it to be "more modern"

Eh... IDK about that, plus it's really personal opinion. For example I think the Bizon looks beast but the Uzi looks terrible. All personal opinion.

This is a very simple stalker challenge that hopefully me and more stalkers will try. Are you a real stalker? then prove it damn you.

[i]Finish the game in one sitting[/i]
[i]Make a save with the title: "Stalker challenge" after you've done the starting missions. The reason why will be shown below[/i]
[i]No deaths allowed. If you die then you're dead, the zone is not forgiving[/i]
[i]You may try again but you have to start from the Stalker challenge save, good thing you made one so that you dont have to go through the boring start[/i]
[i]Mods are allowed[/i]
[i]You can do this with any stalker game[/i]

We should modify it to fit our STALKER universe and play it, mutant npc's, anomalies, radioactive zones, artifacts, and every faction has a base and npc's guarding it. Also npc traders. And none of that fucking roleplaying like /me gently strokes your back, slowly unbelting your p-YOU GET THE IDEA.
All others are totally ok, nothing amazing but they do the job.
Except for the G36. Fucking look at that reloading animation.
I'd rather just have the sound and no animation.

Mutants would need entirely new animations, and anomalies tend to look like shit in Gmod.

Right so since I accidentally killed a Dutyer during a sidemission, then quicksaved afterwards, the whole of Duty wants to kill me and I can't be bothered to start over from the beginning.
I haven't played through SoC with any mod before, what do you recommend?

I've been having a ball with TFW.
First I was about to play as Clear Sky, but after playing it for nearly an hour and the only thing I killed was a boar which I stumbled upon I decided to start a new game and switch to Freedom. Because Freedom are awesome in eSs Tee Ay eL Key Ee aaR Clear Sky. And they wear flecktarn camo.
I also noticed that emissions are way better in Clear Sky than in Call of Pripyat.
In CoP once an emission ocurred and squad of Dutyers were walking towards the safe spot like there was no worry.
In CS (TFW) an emission ocurred and my squad started sprinting for cover like shit was about to go down.
P.S. can you mount a PSO-1 scope on the moist nugget?
Redux is eh pretty cool mod, cool blowouts and dogs doesn't afraid of anything

Must be the modded/updated Clear Sky.
The emissions basically went like this in the early versions of Clear Sky :

[list]Get mission to go to cover[/list]
[list]NPC's get removed from the world[/list]
[list]You wait alone for the emission to end[/list]
[list]No mutants/npc's around[/list]
[list]Emission end[/list]
[list]NPC's spawn back to the world[/list]
Oh, and they sometimes [I]didn't[/I] spawn back after an emission so you had to reload an earlier save and hope it doesn't get fucked up again.

Emission is over, me two of my squads and a loner squad are at the flea-market waiting for the emission to go over.
It's over the sky looks really beautiful and we head back to the camp we were guarding.
Then my 2 squads die due to them all running at the same time into a whirligig anomaly.
