I made a dwarf hunter named Gynocologist.
My guild on my main can't take down Magmaw on 10 person mode. We keep having trouble with the parasites. The best we've done so far was getting him down to about 60% health.
Resto shaman is stupidly good in pvp. I only die to well geared warriors and rogues or when im alone and get ganked by 3+ people.

If you have a mage make him spec fire, the AoE is crazy with impact spread. Boomkins and hunters are also great. If one of your two melee is a rogue get the rogue to put cripling on his thrown and use FoK on the adds, then get him to sprint back to the boss when he gets impaled.
Depends highly on the comp of the raid, we have a warrior tank just soak up all the adds while every else stacks to the left of magmaw. Then the hunter will frost trap the adds if the warrior tank wants some breathing room.

if that works for you then whatever but they really shouldn't need to be soaked at all as long as you have any slows and most ranged switching to them

if we have me on them, it means we can have 2 waves on them without the dps switching off the boss - I can kill most of them in that time, keep myself alive with victory rush and then one or 2 multishots to clean them up at the end of the head phase.
maximum dps on the boss, im useful as i dont have a dps spec/gear set and they never get into the raid because I can control them - seems win/win to me

All you need is a Hunter, and 1 mage. Im Speced arcane and down adds with my blizzard, theres no reason they shouldnt be down..
PS Fire is stupid.

I don't know if you mean fire is stupid overall or if you mean for certain fights but fire is the 2nd highest dps in the game (with the proper stats and a good player)

Stupid Overall, everyone keeps telling me go fire, go fire Arcane sucks. But i pull off the most dps and damage done. It just gets annoying.

Hi, I just purchased the battlechest and I was wondering whether being a healer was very hard or not? I like a challenge but I don't want to be responsible for the failure of a raid or something.
