i was invited into a group claiming heroic on conclave of wind and we downed the bosses, but on the armory it is saying it was regular, which leads me to believe that they switched it
in addition, professor fail over there saying a perfect player could only dps 18k with my gear is naiive if they think they can factor in every CD and every raid buff that i may or may not have

you are calling me a scrub? you are the one who was supposedly doing a boss fight on heroic in a pug (which is already unbelievable) but you didn't notice them switching it to normal. you need to be a special kind of bad to not notice the brief loading screen when you are in the instance and they change difficulty, the chat message, the instance portal changing, the icon beside the minimap changing, the bosses doing massively less damage, the bosses having massively lower health pools, the wind guy not having a storm shield, the wind guys blast moving a lot slower, the more frequent ice patches, having to have nearly all your raid on north during ultimate and the adds on west not being untankable? gg

if you're not watching your screen like a hawk or care very much what is going on, it is likely that you wouldn't notice either

Theory crafting shows a max DPS of 18k on a perfect player, and judging from your 11k DPS on a training dummy I think you're leaps and bounds behind.
