Actually gemming for hit and exp isn't really worth it as a tank nowadays.

gemming for hit is never viable, 40 hit enchant is an abysmally low amount of threat compared to avalanche procs

no reason? pretty sure you have to aim for 8% hit, that +8% from specialization gives you no chance to miss taunts and you should be aiming towards it for threat in general - just not sacrificing the amount of threat avalanche would give.
took me 2 minutes reading prot pally thread on EJ to get this info...
I rolled a death knight and I have to say that they're pretty goddamn fun, I really haven't been bored at all so far even just grinding for quests. I also have a low level paladin and a low level warrior, both in their 50s or so and they're both boring as fucking balls, so it's a nice change.

hey guys i just downed conclave heroic solo with my new dk
So getting JC up to 125 requires jade, which is best found in iron ore, which you need 125 to prospect.
Whoever thought this was a good idea needs to get kicked in the balls or something. It's expensive as shit on the AH (for people who start their profs ASAP anyway) and the only other way of getting it is prospecting tin ore, which has a pathetically low drop rate for jade.

There's no reason to be hit capped because vengeance gives you a shit ton of threat.
All it does is make it so your rotation is less random.
Stripez - Knows better than EJ.

i can understand you can only speak from personal experience buddy but we aren't all as bad as you, some of us have actually done something noteworthy in this game maybe if you actually learnt to play rather than doing shit pugs and being too stupid to tell if it's heroic or not you could too

no, i have not done anything noteworthy in this game
anyway, i think it's impossible to do anything noteworthy in this game other than world firsts or being number 1 on your realm etc., because everything you've done someone else has probably done better
also i have no choice but to pug, because try as i might, i cannot find a single guild recruiting melee dps that doesn't suck fucking nuts at everything. (i say that because i joined a guild and i was top dps in their 10 man BWD... at 15k, it still wasn't even that much, and this is likely the reason that the group couldn't get past fucking magmaw)

im just too late, the month it took me to hit 85 since cata (since i wanted a new character) put me too far behind the curve and it will be difficult to catch up

its fucking easy to catch up i started a new character and got to 85 long after cata release and i managed to gear myself up and get raiding it isn't hard
