Decided to do arena pass with a few friends, playing rogue, resto shammy and ret, we've been doing okay but some comps still fuck us up really badly. Double cleave teams fuck us up when they train our shammy they rape him so quickly, I mean we win against some it's like we'll CC one of the cleaves and try to deal with them till their CD's run out. We then came up against a double healer warrior and couldn't do anything at all.
A bit late into the expansion but a guild I joined a week ago (Just formed then) just got 10/12 on mostly first attempts. In you guys experience, which is harder, Nefarian, Cho'gall or Al'Akir?
Tanking is fun until you run out of game time during a heroic boss fight. good times.
Nefarian is supposed to be the hardest out of them all.
I got a little pissed when i found out that they doesn't include a free month with Cataclysm. After 9 months without WoW i got exited to play it again and then i don't have any playtime or money...

I'd say Cho'gall. It took our guild way longer to down him. But after we downed him the first time we've one shotted him every time since. Cho'gall actually requires effort from everyone in the raid. Nefarian and Al'Akir are a pretty much facerolls for DPS.
Al'Akir took us 2 attempts. Nefarian isn't too bad if your add tank knows what he's doing on phase 3.

Just because someone doesn't give it to someone else doesn't mean he's a prick, if you read his post he said that it was a minor upgrade for the healer and that it was a significant upgrade for him.

It took my guild longest to kill al'akir, but then again half of the people couldn't do the p3 clouds for toffee, and kept getting stuck in tornados.
Once they'd stopped doing that, we him to 1/2% alot, just with only 2 or 3 people alive
Here's how to do him easily:
Dodge stuff that moves while using damaging abilities on the boss and healing and shielding abilities on raid memebers.

Bosses become trivial when you arrange healing spell usage so that tanks are on a higher healing priority than DPS.
So I am stuck between re-subbing WoW or Rift since I am bored during the holidays and need something like an MMO to keep me from dying of boredom.
So I want to ask if its still worthwhile to play WoW and if its still going to be interesting, I would probably end up rolling a fresh character on the server you guys are on.
WoW and Rift are practically the same game.

Probably will be. Considering it has already been around for over a year and we're haven't got any plans of splitting.

So is there a specific class you guys are lacking, I would rather roll something thats going to be the most useful.
We don't need anything as of this moment so you could play pretty much anything you wanted and have a possibility of getting into a raid if you were there as a backup for someone. So play what you want. Also you know it's EU yeah?
