We originally changed to Minions because it was a higher guild level.
However, the guild has stopped raiding (We're still social, having alts in it) because of a lack of dedicated raiders and the current team has ended up just not working well together.

I went into the heroics with the minimum iLevel and it was fine. Just make sure you ask or go in with a friend that can tell you about the tactics and you should be fine.

I don't know anywhere myself that has all the tactics but a few of the dungeons I went in by myself for the first times and there is normally someone who is willing to help you out with the tacs.
